I hate when GAYSPN calls Kobe the best Laker ever when the Lakers have such a rich history of noticeably better players like Kareem, Magic, Wilt , West, and Shaq. Kareem is the best Laker ever, he's the reason Magic has 5 rings, arguably the most skilled center in NBA History, in 15 seasons Kobe has like 25k points he's got a long way to catch up to Kareem and Kobe got a head start.
@KrayZkix It's actually interesting bc most athletes GAIN a lot of weight after retiring bc their metabolism drops from the lack of comparable physical activity. See Magic, Barkley, Jordan, and weight til Shaq retires!. Kareem is actually really disciplined and hasn't fallen into that trap. But, ya, he could gain a few pounds! Haha.
If Andrew Bynum cant learn from Kareem he cant learn period. Kareem played with his skills but also his mind, his intelligence. He never depended on just being bigger or overpowering his opponents.
Kareem was the total package. The greatest basketball player of alltime.
id like to see greg oden, andrew bynum and dwight howard going one on one

i heard bynum dumped him
WonderBread006 1 year ago
Thats funny.
Kareem helped him become the player he is shaping into now. Jabbar quit because he is sick and must treat his disease.
I dont think Andrew Bynum controls who the Lakers have as a coach anyway.
ExplosiveThinMan 1 year ago
lol, no Bynum dumped him before the disease thing, look it up
WonderBread006 1 year ago
So your saying that Bynum controls who the Lakers have as a coach? Could he dump Phil Jackson too?
Last time I checked 22 year old players dont run the franchise.

Damn man I stand corrected. You were right. He did split with him.
My bad.
ExplosiveThinMan 1 year ago
Well when your young you think you have all the answers. He may have just needed some space and try to gain some independence.
He had definitley improved his game since Kareem workd with him. If he can stay healthy he had a shot to be the best center in the game.

im not defending what he did, Bynum is obviously a moron
