  • Classic album..I was about 12 or 13 then,,,my older brother had the album...I played this song until I broke the needle on big brothers turn table...oops....But he llater appreciated I learned ever note on the guitar for this song...and I played iy back to him....he was no longer angry...he knew I was learning my stuff! LOL

  • Oh my goodness...i wore this track out in 1978.

A friend of mine bought this LP and lent it to me..i had to replace it.

The only version to match Bill Withers' masterpiece.

Recently i found it on this same Jap import label. This was done during the classic era of George Benson, Eric Gale & Cornell Dupree. Pure Bob James -Tappanzee- feel This is Wilbert's finest LP.

  • @taildragger53 - sounds like Richard Tee on piano? What a great pianist. Always had those perfect chord voicings to fill in between the main changes. I owe him my start in Smooth Jazz. His album, Strokin', really knocked me out. I couldn't believe something could sound so good, I was hooked.

  • @brianmi40 --- You are absolutely right about everything here. Richard Tee plays acoustic piano..Bob James is on Synthesiser..Gary King on bass..Harvey Mason on drums. Eric Gale plays rhythm guitar. Every time i hear this song i'm transported back to a glorious summers day when i was ALOT younger.(LOL)

    My best wishes to you!
