Well me and my friend are going to go for a night-hike here tonight after fishing, I'll bring the flip and do a vlog wile Im there, for now Im still a skeptic but we will see how I feel after tonight!
I've been nightfished and hiking in that area all my life and I've never seen anything out of the ordinary, this is the first I've ever heard of this area being haunted! (Not to ruin the fun, because i do believe in ghosts!)
Saw them as well, while we leased a camp site down that way. heard the stories form many who worked the dam while in construction. It's as fake as the hellbender.:)
A class of fireworks which have a bright neon glow, and can jump around, skip along the ground,or even launch into the air.Ball lightning is visually similar only larger. You can see a similar effect from arc welders.Nature is creative.
My family and I are supposed to be taking a trip there this summer. I am really hoping to get the chance to check this place out. I am really into that kind of stuff. My sister and I are geeked about it!
Off I-86 to Rte 280 then go to the power lines and you will see the high rise hill but go just after sunset when it starts to get dark and you will see what everybody talks about. Trust me.
ive been face to face with a few witch lights myself.. scary as f#$%. the hair raises on ur neck and a cold shiver runs straight through you... i went cold still frozen in fear, ive never felt anything like that, and never want to ever again. It's all tru what the native americans belive and say. dont dis it, respect it! ive heard other stories too

They are 'Ball Lightning".
Nothing strange about that.
Rare,but not strange.
Ball lightning can rise from the ground
if conditions are right, and seemingly float
around. They're akin to a "jumping Jacks"

It kinda reminds me of Skull Island from King Kong. A place of monsters, demons, ghosts and spirits.
