Man ive been training BJJ and Judo for a bit over a year now, but ive been finding Wrestling more and more appealing and astonishing. Im definitley going to try and wrestle for my HS this year....Man I hope I do well. This guy is such an amazing grappler. Unbelievable

BS is arguably one of the best ever. hands down! i was honored to meet him. the slay match no matter how you look at it was like douglas over tyson...a huge upset...a mar.....kills me!! just kills me...that Slay can walk around and say he beat BS..... fact...cant change it....even though i agree BS continued with his path to greatness while Slay fell on the laurels of that one win...and Gold medal!
his wrestling style looks so calm and peaceful, he effortlessly manhandles these people and looking at him, you couldn't tell he is the greatest freestyle wrestlers ever

how Brandon Slay beat him i will never know.. years later Saitiev would say that his only regret was that Slay left the sport before he could get his revenge...lol.. I would have left wrestling also if i knew he was looking for me..
@CubanColonel Actually he was not the strongest physically, which makes him even better because he used perfect technique, flexibility and very unusual style to win.
In wrestling your aim is to pin your opponent or get the most points at the end of the match. Freestyle your allowed to attack the legs using take downs or throws.(ie Judo) the only thing not allowed is submissions like a triangle or a rear naked choke. in my opinion much tougher then MMA training
could someone please explain the rules of freestyle wrestling to me as im from england and dont understand whats going on to be honest but im a mma fan so its got me interested in it?What exactly are you aiming to do in freestyle wrestling ie whats the aim to win the match?
@TheUSDeltaForce Exactly,theres alot more into real wrestling than shooting for a takedown.Buvaysar has incredible td. defence and has world class grappling skills.GSP is also great wrestler but not olympic level.
