I'm a huge Sherlock Holmes fan I have all the books etc and Jeremy was the best. No doubt in my mind. He was also undeniably beautiful. It does not matter whether he was straight, gay or bi and it has no bearing on his amazing talent or person.

Sorry, but that could only have been written by someone who doesn't know the literature of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Brett's portrayal of Holmes is widely accepted as the most true-to-book, not to mention the infinitely better scripts he had to work with. Then there's the fact Brett was a far more talented actor than Rathbone. Brett never relied on a Deerstalker hat and a big nose to pull off Holmes, he fully took on the persona by his ability as an amazing character actor.
