I live out in the country, and it can be heard on the other side of my yard.
It's been replaced with a much larger siren now.

The 2t22 in the video was for another town and has already been installed. I put a Sterling little Giant on the roof of my shed. Check out my vids of it to hear it. I just finished restoring my 1000T and will install it in a few months after I am done using it as a demonstrator.

Your so damn lucky that you actually get to set off a siren for a actual tornado warning. I would blast my Whelen if I would have not lived in a area congested with neighbors begging me to turn it off. When it heard your Weather Radio blaring, it sounded EXACTLY the same as mine. You must have a Midland type. Nice vid Jeb.

Yeah it's a Midland, exact same model as yours too. it sucks the only thing I had to set off was the pathetic "birdfeeder" siren, with an earthshaking 98db's of sound at 2 inches
