right I have the newer model of the imac & me being completely stupid pushed my SD card into the CD reader/drive & now it's stuck in there... I was thinking to take my mac apart but watching your video looks like you can't enter the CD drive :/

Do you think I should just go to a mac store & see what they can do?

Hey, Cd/dvd drives come a part easily. 4 screws hold on the sheet metal top, most of the time. Just pull it off and get your goods back. :) I have a xbox 360 that wouldn’t eject so the case became permanently opened and the cd/dvd drive too. I put the disks in and pulled them out from the top of the drive. Be careful. I take no responsibility.

in a G5 isight (power pc) 1.9, there's a little port on the board that says cpu vid and it's white (all other ports on the board are black) this is the only port that wasn't filled. what goes in it?

Before apple used intel processors, their chips were called PowerPC. A mac is a type of PC, simply not windows which is a common error. Apple just doesnt call them PCs because they want macs to sound cooler. Everyone thinks of macs as non-pc so thats what apple goes by.

lol i have taken apart imac 66 2.6ghz 24" easily, its bolts are clearly visible after magnetic screen is showed and when u remove ram hatch

it is only accesible through the screen so u cannot take offf the back!

If memory serves You can only access the RAM and CMOS/PRAM Battery from the rear Access.

That was in older iMac models. In these newer ones, the back does not slide off.
