  • NIce mix !!! Love the fades in and out ..the music never stopped. Class.

  • beautiful!

  • Visage was such a great band. Shame that nobody makes that kind o music anymore. Some bands try but fails.

  • now this is what i call synthpop, heavy synths, with new wave influence, or post punk influence. The bubblegum synthpop of today is no where as good as tunes like this

  • @djmusicjac its new wave

  • I ask for Propaganda (DUEL) ,,nice synthpop song of 1985 !

  • owesome sobrang ganda basta new wave the best

  • i love new wave very much, the european music from 80s and early 90s is best music in world. Modern commercial music is too repetitive and lost, very lost, the best inspiring music is from 80s as all tunes are original and different.

  • No this is Visage alias Steve strange 1980 album.

I have it in my collection of New Wave lP,s....

  • Check out My Secret Machine: alturl . com / bn7fi

  • Well when you throw another group,

  • real synth rulezzz !!! f..k vst instruments

  • De/vision , I start Counting , camouflage, Iris , Hurts , Cetu javu

  • It must be hard to pick just a few New Wave synthpop tracks because there are so many good ones to choose from...

'Tears Run Rings' is actually Marc Almond's solo song, so technically it's not Soft Cell.

    Thanks for uploading!

  • @Homoholic the title is just wrong. but if i change it now, nowbody will find the video.

about "tears runm rings" , well its from my soft cell album i bought in 1996.

and this video would include much more new wave if the record companys would let me.

  • @dynamothomar

you could change the title to "new wave AND synthie pop bands"

In the early 80s synthpop was part of New Wave but since New Wave "died" in the mid 80s, you can't really say that synthpop such as AND ONE or WOLFSHEIM (or anything recorded in the 90s) is New Wave. I know it's a bit confusing, especially for younger people.

And I'm telling you, 'Tears Run Rings' is not a SOFT CELL song. Your CD is "Soft Cell AND Marc Almond's Singles". Marc Almond recorded several solo albums.

  • @Homoholic ok its the memorabilia singles.... but i wouldnt make such a big difference between the genres.

  • I was so going to call out that this was a Marc Almond single....but you were there before me...other bands that fit the mold but are not included...Cosmicity, VNV Nation, Apoptygma Bezerk, The Beloved, Cause & Effect, Red Flag, Secession, Cetu Javu, Wumpscut....and I think this is synthy bands more than it is just new wave...def New Wave influenced bands on the newer groups.

  • @Homoholic its good that you told us new wave "died" homoholic.and i guess the record charts verified this too..good thing the existance of a type of music is tie to your opinion and the music sales from record compaies.keep us posted on what next is going to 'die"...

ANDbtw, its NEW WAVE.it was NEVER 'synth pop"or "dark wave"we didnt use those made up terms back then..

  • @SHARKREEF2011

I don't think you know what you are talking about. According to wikipedia "Conventional wisdom holds that the genre (New Wave) "died" in the middle of the 1980s" and "New Wave "receded" during this period when advances in synthesizer technology caused New Wave groups and mainstream pop and rock groups to sound more alike"

Secondly, half of the tracks in this video are from the 90s. They may be influenced by New Wave, but this is not true New Wave. It is synthpop!

  • OH THE 90'S AND EARLY 2001 WAS JUST INCREDIBLE...I MISS THEM SO, SO MUCH!

  • @musicluva314 Aren't you referring to the 80s???

  • Woldsheim is amazing !!!

  • i love new wave

  • i love new wave the best

  • Simian Mobile Disco - Audacity of Huge ;)

  • i can't belive it i'm young again

  • i lived in comunist Romania in those thimes and let me tell you we was all neo all inclussuiv but always dressed in black and ..................

  • i thought new wave synthpop was like mgmt or passion pit?

  • @neeshover title may be irritating, i had to replace some tracks because of warner

  • Autobahn... those nihilists

  • never heard any of this songs back then. Only Soft cell, and New Order. Every song is good! Not fair that they didnt put them on the radio! :( I have every song from Soft cell and New Order1 :)

  • never heard anyof this songs back then. Only Soft cell. Every song is good! Not fair that they didnt put them on the radio! :(

  • Proof that some of the best music from the 80's NEVER made it to the radio.

  • beginning of house

  • buenas bandas , ........palomino electric? ajjjj desps todas estan buenas

  • You should have done it in HQ.... BTW good selection.

  • New wave would be a great theme for a big party ....wohuuu :P!!!

  • You have amazing taste!

  • Die ersten (rein kommerzielle) "Elektroniker" waren Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk...also hat UK NICHT den Synthie-Sound "erfunden"...^^

    Wer kann mir zustimmen? ^^

  • good job

  • muy bueno!

  • RAMSTEIN

  • Welches Lied is das von Wolfsheim?

  • Visage,(Fade To Grey) UK band made from bands like Magazine, Ultravox and the Moors Murderers, basically a studio band and with Mr Steve Strange upfront

  • whats the first song xD?

  • This is a great viid!!

Are they all Germany bands except VISAGE and NEW ORDER?

  • thank you, from germany are wolfsheim, de vision, and one, days of fate(who broke up meantime) project pitchfork, palomino and kraftwerk. it shouldtnt be a german synthband vid but those bands are just some of the best i know..

  • bin erst 19

aber mit dieser musik bin ich aufgewachsen

sie kommt mir so bekannt vor *_* einfach toll <3

  • Very good. catalog.

  • super video! eine band besser wie die andere :) es lebe der synthpop :)

  • I love these songs! I have most of these albums, but I like to see other people enjoying them too! De/Vision is my favorite :)

  • "Fade To Grey" from Visage

  • i love synth pop

  • thanks , me too

  • :)))))))))))
