I think it's unfair for people to keep comparing this to the old one. People make amvs with the same song and anime as others, and they're not usually compared (as far as I have seen)

I like this one very much! I think it has a completely different feel from the old one as well as a completely different focus.

I did end up feeling that maybe the pacing of the clips didn't fit the music at times, and some clips would have been better used at different parts of the song (like Kraehe kissing Mytho while taking the shard would have gone well with the kissing sound, I think).

Overall, very nice! I would like to see it in higher quality.

I think you did a very good job on this, however I would probably stay away from this song/anime combination simply because the original is so well known and so...well, fantastic. Ppl are naturally going to always compare anything that comes after to the original. You clearly have potential and talent so keep at it! Great job!

Your amv is good, but I don't think it's good enough to rival the original Håll Om Mig amv. In the original amv, the creator has synched every clip to the music - every movement in each clip matches to the song. you, on the other hand, doesn't really have that much synching to the music at all. I'll say it again: It's good, but not as good as the original amv.

I think it'd be better if you used a different song. That'd make it more original and it'd seem less like you were riding the coattails of that video. Especially since the comparison makes your AMV look more poor.

I think you used clips that were pretty long, like...it didn't seem as well edited, but it wasn't bad. You can definitely improve and be like...muchos better.

Hmm in my opinion not as good. i also went and watched the better quality. It doesn't wrap me up like the fast past in the other one does and the reason i liked the other one is that the characters move with the beat perfectly. In this one they will be standing still when the music is pounding. I also liked the fact that when the melody changed a bit the other video moves to the cranks to show it`s different. it was good and i hoped i didn`t sound mean i`m really just trying to give feed back.

I have to say it's a well made video! But I think you should stay the course of originality! It's not because it's not good (trust me, I'm HORRIBLE, so you have my praise at your abilities!) but being original always wins out, even over talent.

Most just don't want to see the something redone. It's like you're trying to outdo someone who did something amazing. Let them have that and put your talent to finding your own. Because from what I saw in that video, you have an awesome talent.

Positive: Excellent timing; much better than most. I love the clips you chose for both the "Mwah" sound and the key change.

Crit: Although yours rocks, the other one beats yours out on a few things: There's a contact movemetn on just about every beat, and a remarkable fluency matching what the words are doing. Like around :50 in most of the vids, there's the lyrics "Ja kom närmare ett slag" and the "när" is drawn out just as Tutu dips.(continued)

But not just the fluency...the physical sound of the word fits. Around 1:00, the words are "Blodet rusar vilt och hett" and the "hett" (which sounds like a brutal "herr") is where Kraehe does this little...raven-y motion, just sharp and evil.

Now I'm not putting down your vid; it rocked out loud. But I've been obsessing over the original, and there are some things in there that I consider pure genius. How she pulls it off, I'll never know.

I like how you didn't have a lot of the same scenes as in the other but I don't think a lot of the scenes matched up as well in the other. It has nothing to do with timing cause other than being off by a couple of seconds it's not bad. Where the other Hall Om Mig vid could be used as a opening theme, this one falls just short of that honor.

You did a very good job though, love all the scenes of Fakir with his sword. :D

And it's nice, but for things to work on, I'd say more attention to timing and action matching to the timing of the clips. Like, when there is a large sound.. (I don't really know how to describe it. Like when the music goes, "BAM!" kind of) do a scene switch or a white/black flash. I dunno, makes it more interesting. Also, the theme of yours seems like Duck vs Rue, and the other is like a series trib.

I was trying to make the theme Duck vs Rue. I'm glad someone noticed. :)

As for the effects I tried to put no effects in to just show the awesome scenes just like they are.

When I made the video the timing was right on but YouTube made it off a little. I'll be posting a better version on Veoh soon and hopefully the timing will be right. ^^
