Nah.Slime soul +Dead Pirate is the way to go

if you have it all lvld up, you can summon 9 slimes hitting him every second for 1 damage and 2 damage from back hits

I farmed the Iron Golem in the small room in the top of Demon Guest House. I had Nunchucks(-1 HP, but incredible attack speed makes up for it), Lucky 7's, and Soul Eater Ring as well as Imp, Flying Humanoid, and Ghostly Dancers. It's a very fast farm, but the only problem was the amount of MP it chugged.

I also had Bat Company set to Equip-B to fly over him, although I should have done that Puppet Master/ Skeleton Ape thing instead. :p

Best way to farm the iron golem soul, which you'll need like quite a few of later for synthesis, is use imp and terror bear, which deals low damage, but does like 5 hits per swing, and against the iron golem, that's all you need

i used the bat company and the dead crusader to take my time and find the way up the hidden platforms.

Actually, I think that the Heart Eater soul causes you to regain more MP per heart collected instead of making them drop more often.

Ahhh, that would work too. I suppose it would be useful in areas with hard-to-kill monsters and a lot of candles then.

Cool I wait for next LP episode with the voice acting.Pretty useless the gold ring now.Zombie and Homunculi with werewolf :D maybe not so useful but looks cool when you summon your own army.Darknike1

Another good way to kill the Iron Golem is to use the Kaiser knuckle and it's special ability. It's very fast attack speed. Although I think that way might be a bit faster.
