What amazes me about the Japanese is that even despite adopting a bit of foreign culture (that's inevitable anyway, with the US out there), they've still kept their original culture pretty much intact through all these years.

And as you can see, even their "mainstream" stuff is pretty decent, and shows their culture pretty well.

Some of us, prefer the japanese version of certain things. & not saying everyone, but 9 times out of 10, you didn't even care for the Korean culture a year ago as much you did now. I luv this group ... Yaguchi Mari and Aibon are my favorites. It is nice to hear each of their voices so distinctly .. You seldom have that opportunity when the whole group performs. Takahashi Ai clearly has the strongest voice.

@Lankiichii To be more precise, this is half of the 16 member MM .. There are only 7 because Nacchi graduated a month earlier. Tsunku divided MM in half so they could perform in smaller Japanese cities that didn't have large enough staged auditoriums to accompdate the full 16 members. This is my favorite song of MM because you get to hear each of the girls individually and clearly. It is also a beautiful song with traditional Japanese instruments.
