Open your eyes. If male circumcision wasn't dangerous then no one would have died or lost their penis b/c of it. But they did. Why does female circumcision continue despite being clearly dangerous? Just because something is a custom doesn't make it right. That should be so obvious. As for infant baptism, a tiny amount of water is sprinkled on the baby away from any opening that can cause drowning. There isn't any risk of harm from that. Men who have their foreskin intact testify to this & they should know since they're able to make the comparison. 85% of the men in the world have their foreskin & there isn't a world-wide epidemic of men having problems w/ urine drops getting stuck inside their foreskin resulting in fungal growth. It isn't universally agreed amputating the foreskin eliminates the possibility of getting penile cancer. Penile cancer is extremely rare and there is a higher chance of death from infant circumcision than penile cancer. A man is more likely to get breast cancer. To force someone to undergo circumcision for a cancer he very likely will never get doesn't make sense.

We have appendixes, and they do nothing at all. Evolution works in strange ways, maybe at one point the foreskin served a purpose. But now, having one is just leading a higher prone risk to cancer and infections.

Open your eyes. If male circumcision wasn't dangerous then no one would have died or lost their penis b/c of it. But they did. Why does female circumcision continue despite being clearly dangerous? Because cultural acceptance allows horrid things to happen despite being clearly wrong. All forms of circumcision are completely unnecessary, and like any surgery carries risks, especially considering circumcision is amputation of genital tissue and typically done to a tiny infant.

It is ignorance performing circumcision. You didn’t even seem aware children have died b/c of it, or the risks involved, including the complete loss of the penis. Have you ever seen a circumcision? Before the foreskin can even be cut off from an infant, the foreskin first has to be forcibly separated from the glans. That’s like your fingernails being forcibly ripped off. Then a knife cuts off the foreskin, which is the most sensitive part of the penis. Imagine the baby’s pain.

Just because something is a custom doesn't make it right. That should be so obvious. As for infant baptism, a tiny amount of water is sprinkled on the baby away from any opening that can cause drowning. There isn't any risk of harm from that. Anyone who foolishly submerges their infant underwater is egregiously endangering their child's life, which is far, far more important than any custom. Risking your child's life over a custom is simply not worth it.

On this video's related playlist is "Cutting with Tradition Part 1 (Jewish Circumcision)" where Aviv Malca & Raanan Perry, who are Jewish, tell their story why they didn't circumcise their son. Their families objected, but they stuck to their morals and didn't mutilate their son's genitals.

Norm Cohen is Jewish and he's the founder of NOCIRC, an anti-circumcision group. In the video "Circumcision AIDS Fraud" he explains the fallacy of using the fear of HIV/AIDS to justify circumcision. He does this while wearing a shirt that says, "CIRCUMCISION - I didn't give MY consent".

Laurie Evans is Jewish and she didn't circumcise her son. She tells her story in "Jewish Mother - Intact Son" and "Circumcision: Assault on Male Sexuality". Miriam Pollack is Jewish and had her sons circumcised and now deeply regrets it. She is now an advocate for male genital integrity. She tells her story in the videos "Jewish Mother on Circumcision" and "Circumcision & Jewish Identity".

There are many other examples of Jews who are against circumcision aside from the ones I just mentioned. Jews who still identify themselves as Jews yet do not circumcise their sons perform the Brit Shalom instead of doing the Brit Periah which people mistaken for the Brit Milah.

@tdstudent1 LOL..thank you, i agree! Im believer in Yeshua as messiah, im a gentile. But Jesus never discouraged following Jewish tradition and such. I dont see why people should break the obedient tradition to the God of Abraham. they could whine and protest about it, but 3000 years of powerful tradition would be impossible to break.

People should break traditions that involve cutting up the genitals of unconsenting individuals because it is wrong. If you want to have your own genitals surgically altered as a consenting and fully informed adult, then go ahead. But no one has the right to force it onto another person without their consent, even their child. Justifying male circumcision because it's thousands of years old doesn't make it right, as it doesn't make female circumcision right.

i like being circumcised. Glans is the most sensitive part. Id rather have it rub directly againts the viganal wall for more intense pleasure rather than having it rub againts my own foreskin. But whatever floats your boat then all is good! plus i kinda like it when i dont have to worry bout post urine drops that gets stuck inside the foreskin to REEK and might cause fungus growth. I have no problem with circumcision, if you dont like it, then thats cool

It's actually the foreskin that's the most sensitive part, even more so than the glans. Men who have their foreskin intact testify to this & they should know since they're able to make the comparison. 85% of the men in the world have their foreskin & there isn't a world-wide epidemic of men having problems w/ urine drops getting stuck inside their foreskin resulting in fungal growth. Women's genitals require more maintenance than intact men & they manage just fine w/o surgery.

Look its simple:
1) Circumcision serves a health purpose, it helps keep the penis clean. But you are right, that's not a good enough reason. So...
2) Circumcision serves a symbolic purpose. Can you blame Jews for not wanting their body parts to look like dirty animals like pigs, horses, and dogs?
3) Most importantly, don't argue about a tradition you don't understand; I'm a circumsized Jewish male and I would hate my parents if they didn't have me circumsized. It helps one's Jewish identity.

2. There is nothing dirty about natural male genitals as there is nothing dirty about natural female genitals. There is nothing appealing about penises with exposed dry, keratinized glans, scar tissue @ the circumcision site, and limited gliding mobility in the erect state. All this baggage linked to a circumcised penis is unnatural and are not beneficial.

Most of the men in the world (85%) are not circumcised and their penises are perfectly clean. Women's genitals require more maintenance than men with foreskins yet they all manage just fine without surgery. Claims of reduced cancer of the uterus have not been proven; only claimed by those who seek to legitimize their traditional practice. It's also claimed male circumcision reduces HIV transmission but that hasn't helped the USA from having a high rate of HIV.

Circumcision removes 16 000 nerve endings, making sex much less pleasurable. I feel that it is wrong to remove healthy tissue from a non-consenting patient.
I had the snip as an infant, as I have Jewish ancestry, yet would rather have my foreskin!

It isn't universally agreed amputating the foreskin eliminates the possibility of getting penile cancer. Penile cancer is extremely rare and there is a higher chance of death from infant circumcision than penile cancer. A man is more likely to get breast cancer. To force someone to undergo circumcision for a cancer he very likely will never get doesn't make sense.

We have appendixes, and they do nothing at all. Evolution works in strange ways, maybe at one point the foreskin served a purpose. But now, having one is just leading a higher prone risk to cancer and infections.
Have fun with penile cancer and possibly spreading infections around to your sexual partners.
