can you use fireburst instead of cherry bombs? cherry bombs takes 3-5 seconds before detonating and it can be a pain if it fails.

@completeinsanity Same way you do it with normal walls - Jump towards it, then press jump again while pressing the opposite direction.

Thank you very much for these videos. This game was relatively easy except for these digging games. They almost but not quite bring the game to a grinding halt. I wish the designers had either left them out of the game or kept them as true (and optional) mini-games. The third digging game was especially frustrating. Several times my wind actually blew the girl the opposite direction I drew. Did anyone else have this problem. By the way, I played the Wii version.

Are you sure you're drawing the wind's curly bit correctly? I've never encountered this, but I hear the Wii's controls are a little bit fiddly so you may have to live with it.

For the most part, I found the Wii controls to work well enough. Evidently, the game demanded more perfection than necessary on the PS2 version as well. The only two frustrating things were the wind blowing me the wrong way and the game wanting me to draw perfect circles for the tree dance thing near the beginning. And yes, I know I drew the wind right because sometimes they went the right way and sometimes they didn't, and I always drew the same curl.

I had the same problem that you did on the Wii. I definitely drew the wind the correct way but sometimes the girl was blown the opposite way. The digging games are very frustrating. Often, the brick cutting slash won't work either.

I didn't have any trouble with the slashing, but the wind thing was definitely a problem. The digging game was the only place in the entire game where I had this problem and it was the only place where this problem could actually make a difference. I loved this game a lot, but after drawing the wind correctly numerous times in a row only to have it blow the girl the wrong way (thereby costing me both ink and precious seconds), I was ready to call it quits. It was simply unfair.

the important thing is the parts where the lines meet. I've played with the brushstrokes and have gotten some pretty impossible things to happen, so long as the lines meet up in certain places.

I have a video capture card on my desktop. I use DScaler as my video software to play the game on, so I just use its Record function.
