out of all of the times i went here, i've only had 1 bad memory.

I was walking into one of those clothing shops on the boardwalk to look around inside. As i was entering, I stopped to glance at some shorts on display that had cute prints on them. I am a larger girl who does NOT look good in shorts, lol. i was only looking at them because they looked cute if i was slimmer, but i guess a group of guys my age saw me looking at them, walked by me, and made a few sounds like they were disgusted, XD

Ocean City can be very dangerous if you don't take safety precautions. It's off the mainland I believe thus surrounding it by water. There is a strong current that pulls into the ocean. If you get deep into the water you will want to either signal the life guards or if you really want to save yourself without assistance you will swim alongside the beach. The current can pull you far into the ocean. Be careful there.

It's when the current is strong. In other words when it pulls you in. You might have been lucky. When I was younger I had to be saved by a life guard. I didn't know that you need to swim parallel to the shore rather than swimming straight towards it.
