Actually, there is a way to NOT waste any cards lol. What you have to do is to ask the spectator to pick 5 cards AND his twins. Let's says he picked the 8 of spade, ask him also to take the 8 of club...

instead of tearing up cards every time, why not just get the person to pick 5 pairs and have them in 2 decks of 5 and do the same thing you just did to match of the the pairs. this way you save money and save the trees bro.

pretty nice, indeed you dont have to waste cards, you could just pickup A-2-3-4-5 of spades, and A-2-3-4-5 of hearts, and tell the spectator that A-A will get together and 4-4 will get together and so on. :) great trick!

Guys I think to do this trick without wasting decks of cards, we need to be creative. I actually just get five friends to each sign or "decorate" a plain piece of paper that I tear up into 5 even 'cards'. If done correctly, the signatures will match up. And with this method, you can do it ANYWHERE... you just need a paper and pen. Don't waste your cards.
