It's sad that this film has been forgotten after all these yeas and never revived the credit it deserves. I thought it was amazing because it's so simple and not complex last most horror films. At the same time it also falls on the level of being worthy to be remade. It's also a shame that both Rod Steiger and Yvonne De Carlo are no longer with us.
