This was 3 years after I was born, so they weren't exactly my generation but this band was a large chunk of the soundtrack to my teen years. Brilliant song writing, raw as fuck energetic sound, real anthems. Woulda been sick to see them live. Cheers for the video!

Look at Indestructible Lyric and song structure wise. It's way too different, and sound more pop then Punk.If they wanted to go Pop-Punk they would be like The Queers or Screeching Weasel sound. Op Ivy did NOT make Green Day. But they were Billie's biggest inspiration. Green Day, known at that time as "Sweet Children", was around and played shows with Op Ivy. It was the the day of Op Ivy's very last show that Sweet Children played their very first show as Green Day. Also check out "Pinhead Gunpowder" Billie's other band whom also played shows with Op Ivy
