how can you criticize a game that you're not even trying to play right?

I mean you an avoid most falling deaths by holding the jump button in mid-air and it makes it a lot easier to hit enemies that way.

Yes it's hard as shit and it's better when you cheat....well not sure where I was going with that, but yeah play this game with cheats as it is probably one of the most agonizing and difficult games to play because of it's precision and one hit kill aspect (which does suck donkey balls). Sonic, Zool, Gex, Awesome Possum, Bonk, Rocky Rodent, Bubsy, Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel, Aero the Acro-Bat, and hundreds more came out after 1990 and before 1995. True, that carried through the late 1990s with Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon... but it was MOSTLY during the early 90s. Just admit that you like playing a game with a little kitty cat mascot and move on... and do your research.
