Damn! Those words were bright. Really nice video though, really liked it. Hey, do you plan on doing a video with the Enterprise-H soon? I would REALLY like to see one on that ship. :D
@armysoldierist Hey, it was a student project so I don't intend on doing any more now sorry. I also haven't done much 3D work since then anyway. But glad you like it :D

@GUARDIANOFFOR Haha, yeh I know. I had about 3 weeks and it was part of some course work I did for my degree. I was learning blender at the time so a lot of mistakes were made.
I didn't actually texture it I just added materials and basic lighting. I'm not a 3D artist really. We just got extra credit for compositing in 3D elements with the 3D camera within After Effects.
But yeh, it was never intended to be the finished article. :D
Very very good. I like the colour choices of the ship and in the efffects and in the credits too. I thought just before the warp 0.40 it was a bit cheap and static, but the actual warp itself was superb with a real feeling of acceleration. Enjoyed that, cheers.
Interesting design. It maintains most of the design aesthetics of other Starfleet ships, but looks like it might well be an intergalactic craft. Except the engines. They don't really look powerful enough to drive that sucker across a million light-years of nothing.
Show!

Enterprise 'Q?' What's going to happen when the Enterprise Z gets whacked? Are they going to use the Klingon or Romulan alphabet?

The starship looks like a copy of Starfleet Battles' original Light Cruiser...
Is this a fan production? I see all sorts of names, but only a trailer.

@Caseytify Hey, yeah I made it a few years ago as part of my uni course.
I made the ship up from scratch :D

ok that was pretty cool... although think you need to make the saucer section a little thinner, kinda looks like a used tire.

Still, awesome work. :D

Lol, I always thought that the Federation would make an Enterprise P and R, but skip the Q because of Q... Hehe
Besides the fact that you used the music from TNG, this was a great find! Bravo!

The ship just took out the camera and the cameraman. lol. Fantastic job my friend. I would pay to see this movie just by the opening sequnce.

Not bad.
Although I wouldn't have used the letter "Q", as it immediately reminds of a famous TNG char. ;)

i'd be interested in seeing an original series opening done in this fashion, with a model of kirk's ship that doesn't look like crap.
