This is a great camera. I can't imagine what my vacation would have looked like with my D3 and five Nikor lenses, batteries, flash and all of the crap ...

Take the guy who gets paid to make pictures at boring conferences and weddings to make a living. He needs to carry around 10000 euro of nikon/canon telezooms and bodies to deal with the crappy light.
Beautifully built and user friendly. I like the retro analogue styling. Too bad it's not an interchangeable kens camera that can accept M mount lenses with a viewfinder. Then it would be a budget priced M9, but it seems Leica doesn't want the competition.
Ur better than these stupid Canadian Camera stores that try to sell it. Why can't we just order direct from Germany instead of putting up with crappy stuff in Canadian Stores. Yeah..... I want to buy direct from Germany.... Especially after this presenter is doing a very good explanation of this camera!
Very nice camera. However, it is not as good as Sigma SD14 which is way better and the images looks far more like in magazines than this camera or M9. Plus, it's much cheaper.
@machoBaller213 Well acctually, im not. I believe this is worth the money because it does what it´s suppose to do.. It´s meant to be small and compact but it should still take very sharp photos.. Oh, one more thing, learn how to spell. Bye :)
$2000 price point............ f/2.8 lens = fail, 230k 2.7" LCD = fail, slow pathetic AF = fail, no weather sealing = fail, speaker holes on top for rain to fall into = fail. A beautiful body, but looks like a poor value, unless you just want to be seen with a red dot. Will Leica ever give us a street action photojournalist camera that does not cost $10,000?
dude i would never use this camera in the rain, its much to nice for it! Its not made for prof. journalists, get a Leica DSLR then. The price is cheap, u get an awesome lens that would cost probably 1400 dollar alone
who cares about engine demonstration, what we, as photographers want to see, IS THE RESULT => please show us pictures from this machine instead of technical reviews.
They can't... The camera technically is still being developed as we speak. It's still on the down low until they feel they are ready to show the final product. There are already some samples up on dpreview so go check those out. There are also some on luminous-landscape but those are the only places I know of so far.

They don't sell cameras in competition to Canon, Nikon et al. They sell to people who buy Leicas.
