  • I think Tommy is a great singer songwriter with a real gift he sings with a rare passion and honesty in his voice,

Sadly alot of people listen to JLS or some sterile cowellized pap and thats..their loss!!

Personaly the song "little easy steps" on Tommys CD "words on the floor" brings a tear to my eye and a lump in my throat...

  • @krainey sorry Not called "easy steps " its called "Kick the covers" brilliant tune

  • album comes out 21st september!

  • love this so much (L)

  • according to his website the album is released 21st September and he is doing loads of gigs to support it. Excellent live - I saw him last night in Edinburgh and it was ace.

  • This guy is incredible. He feels the music like we all should so deeply.

  • I love tommy reilly! Does anyone know when his album is relised?

  • i havent heard him live before but listening to his performances on orange unsigned act it seems like hes better live then he is recored in a studio... but that doesnt mean he sounds bad recorded. far from it! :D

  • there is no way that tommy could supplant bryan adams, michael bolton, and kenny rogers spots as the worst singer(s) ever.. he's fkin great!

  • i LOVE this song, it is my favourite Tommy reilly song! but its the one he hasnt put on spotify or itunes! :(

  • He was great at belladrum! (: tommy tommy tommy fucking reilly! :D

    he's amazing liveeee! ;]

  • Shit but fucking great at the same time :D

  • He makes me proud to be scottish

  • i love tommy he is so original you will probably never find someone that sounds the same as him and i love that he hasnt let the fame go to his head like most singers do.

i agree with the people that are against mileyfan 7788 tommy reilly is not the worst singer

  • TOMMY, TOMMY, TOMMY FUCKING REILLY.

  • WE LOVE TOMMY!!!!

  • miley cyris is precorded shit tommy is real . and unreal

  • love tommy

  • zoolander u obviously dont appreciate propper music go listen to steps

  • Love the guy, his work is really good :D x

  • zoolander your a arsewipe fukin idiot!!!! he's original so plus flying the scottish flag!!! paolo nutini much better :D

  • love him. New album is on pre order but in my opinion very disappointing hes scraped the acoustic edge of the guitar on most songs and the producers have tried to main stream him. It didnt work for me and I think he should just try and keep acoustic. I love him here but cant say the same from what Ive heard of the album. Check it out for yourself on itunes.

  • i met himm :)

  • sorry lads, meant to thums ye up :(

  • Hes different, and really talented... I <3 Tommy Reilly immensely

  • Comment removed

  • haha you have the worst taste in music ever...loser,miley cyrus....lol

  • probably better than you you utter bellend. go listen to miley cyrus.

  • mileyfan7788 I see you claim that Tommy Reilly is "The worst singer ever" Well judging by the fact your name is mileyfan you don't appear to have a very good taste in music as Miley cyrus is rubbish compared to Tommy

  • tommy reily kwality at titp :) 1 tommy fucking reilly

  • I agree with penny 266, just shut up and listen, no1 really gives a fuck what you have to say.....

  • wat a good name 4 a song its so good :)

  • for goodness sakes, hes an average guy singing an awesome wee song that he wrote, enjoying doing it, and providing enjoyment for other people, lighten up!

  • All the bastards nay saying this lad have to look past the vocal talents of Tommy, which i actually think are fine as they make his unique sound well... so unique, fuds.

Anyway, back to what i was saying, you have to look past his so called lack of vocal talent and listen to the words, listen to the way he uses his guitar, piano and harmonica. Bob Dylan had a voice that made people turn in their graves but when they heard what he was saying.. well the rest is history.

  • I agree totally with what cullen1298 said, and TheNextBigThing71's opinion doesn't really count because of his use of the word "spazzi"

  • You see musical talent as people who can do nothing but sing? so basically you like generic mainstream shite.

This guy has unbelievable music talent, he played guitar, harmonica, keyboard and drums and is an incredible song writer...no music talent?

And yeah granted his voice isn't amazing, but its raw and you can feel the emotion in his voice and his performances

No real musical talent? absolute world class.

  • You guys are so sad just enjoy the music

  • This guy is amazing :)

I was pushing for either him or Toby Sebastian to win <3

  • he's singing about how that he would do anything with her, its not about coffee

  • wow this is my best artist of all time

  • omg i just jizzed in my pants

  • i really,really,really luv,luv this.

  • ok everyone shhhhh and enjoy him for what he is, not moan about what hes not!

    freaking love this song! :D

  • who cares if he is ever considered great? lets just enjoy the songs man

  • if you think this song is about coffee then you have a small understanding about music

  • If u guys knew anything about Dylan, u will know he wrote a song called `One More Cup of Coffee`. So stop moaning about Tommy writing about it and stop comparing him to Dylan!

  • bloody hell guys calm down if he wants to sing about coffee let him sing about coffee! i think he's great

  • haha theres like some mad argument going on

haha over one song thats amazing..

    youtubes so silly tbh:/

  • haaaaaaaaa i gota watch this bloke at t4

  • Going all the way Tommy!! Good man.

  • the first time i heard him, i thought he was taking the piss.

  • av bn sayin that to cunts anaw YAAAAAAAAAS

  • he`s like a modern day version of Dylan

  • so agree man... aquired taste just like the legend... neither can really hold a note but their voices are just so likeable cause they put so much heart in thier music

  • Except for the fact that Dylan gets accolades for writing some of the most important protest songs ever made such as "The times they are a'changin'" and "blowin' in the wind" and Tommy Reilly writes about...coffee. Maybe that says more about his generation's political stance (apathy) than his writing ability though.

  • Except Dylan wrote those songs when he was in his 20's, tommy is still a teenager, and to say that the song is about coffee is quite ignorant, like a rolling stone isnt about stones is it? dont get me wrong Dylan is one of the greats, but apathy?

  • Can't say age is really a factor. Jackson Browne wrote some of the greatest acoustic songs ever when he was 15/16 years old. I was using hyperbole to make my point, so the ignorance point is moot. Yes, apathy! We're in the middle of one of the most controversial and volatile political period ever and how many great protest songs are being written? Not many as most young song writers focus on the personal rather than the social or political.

  • And so my point is that, a huge part of what made Dylan great (and considered one of the best) is his musics reflection and impact on his generation (Something I don't think Tommy Reilly will ever do)

  • I suppose i see where you are coming from, i personally wouldnt have likened him to dylan, but he is something different, and he is very good at what he does, and he is humble which is very refreshing

  • I do like the fact that artists from Scotland are being accepted when they sing in our own accents...1st the Proclaimers many moons ago...recently the view, Tommy Reilly and my personal favourite, Frightened Rabbit. Good to hear something different from the standard accentless drones. I like the energy Tommy puts in.

  • And Biffy Clyro?

  • For gods sakes, If he wrote songs about political strive you'd compare him to dylan, hes damned if he did and damned if he didn't in your books. He has very clever lyrics and is quite original, Dylan copied (took inspiration from) people too, remember. Hes not singing about coffee, don't deconstruct hes singing about love and how desperate he is for hers. jesus.

  • I wasn't comparing him to Dylan. I was commenting that it's a bit silly that other people. I was using hyperbole to put a point across but seeing as, instead of using your brain you decided to make a kneejerk reaction it proves that those points would've gone over your head anyway.

  • Tommy's video for jackets has gone up on his myspace. Excellent video.
