As much as I enjoyed the movie, Daniel Craig still doesn't cut it for me as Bond. He's just not suave enough. I can appreciate what they were trying to do after Brosnan, but if I want a hard-hitting, "realistic" secret-agent I go for Jason Bourne.

Oh the whole stupid thing is worth it for the "security guard" comment. That is fucking hilarious. One little bit of "humor" the guy didn't plan on - it so hit a nerve. Ahhh, I love movie geeks that will never make movies.

The thing about Bond "with a chip on his shoulder" is that this is Bond Begins. This is what he was like before he became the superspy we all know and love. But I liked this a lot. You guys are very funny.

Perhaps since this was the first 007 mission, they're showing why he is a cold blooded killing machine..because of what happened with the girl he fell for. He went to do it again in one of the earlier bond films and his wife got killed, sooo yeah.

Bond couldn't wait at the bottom because he doesn't have authority to detain a man in that country. Not exactly a cooperative situation with the local government.
