Oh come on, do gingers really find those jokes offensive? It's part of the British comedy staple going back generations to take the mickey out of people. It's like laughing at national stereotypes. Nobody ever means anything particularly agressive by these sorts of jokes, so if you can't take it then go and watch something else...

The Picts ruled Scotland and were virtually wiped out. Then they began to rebuilt with the Irish Celts coming over and settling. So your argument is invalid in at least 2 different ways.

@HobbsO Please do some actual research, rather than just pretending. The Celts originate from pretty much all of Northern Europe, not just Scotland. I would also question why if, as you say, Gingers don't predominately come from Scotland that the Roman historian Tacitus commented on the "red hair and large limbs of the inhabitants of Caledonia". The Picts were not in Scotland long before the Romans.

@MDCVFIF Oh dear. By Celts YOU mean the Picts, the Gauls and the Irish. I see where your coming from but that was about 400BC. In the proceeding 800 years the Romans beat them back all the way out of France, Spain and England. In the process they killed all the Gauls and built Hadrian's wall to keep out the Picts. THEN the Vikings swept through and killed a lot of Picts. In other words look at history as a whole not just a fixed point.
