@JustBetter10 With the games looking better and better it sure could. But some of the newer releases are just a cut above last years graphics. Take a look at Duke Nukem. That was released this year with half life 2 graphics. MW3 has the same as Blops and MW2 but slightly refined. BF3 is the only game released which you'd need to upgrade your comp for.

And to be fair, Skyrim is not even the top of the line in terms of sheer looks. It doesn't look bad, by any means, don't get me wrong and for a cross platform game that is THIS expansive, it's a huge feat, but you can't help but wonder if it was a PC exclusive for example, what the real Ultra settings would have looked like then...

@RindraRado I've seen a comparison between the witcher 2 and Skyrim. Witcher definitely looks better. But i have no knowledge of the backstory of the witcher and it's engine, so I can't say anything about it.

@SnowdragonDS Well, again to be fair, Skyrim is MUCH more expansive since you can basically just walk to almost any point you can see. However, as they themselves said, the devs of Witcher 2 intended it as a love letter to PC gamers and it shows.

If you don't mind graphics (they should really be a distant second to gaming ^^), then i recommend trying the first and second Witcher games. Their story is fantastic. Quite different than your regular fantasy "heroes and bad guys" crap.
