  • @the2009guy: Do you mean the muscular-looking calves? They look that way because there's fat building up there. It's not muscle.

  • but the kids at the beginning looks very muscular, weem, but muscular, much more muscular than a kid should be so what's up with that?

  • A 18-year-old boy of my sisters' girlfriend has died last year in this disease. :((

  • hey, my brother has this... my parents havent told me what will happen but i have heard off people what will... will someone please explain whatthis is?

  • @harris9512 Its a Very nasty disease. It means your brothers muscles will slowly die, and your brother will keep getting weaker and weaker. untill.. he dies at about the age of 20 to 30 :(. One of my friends died of this disease. He was only 14 :(

  • This is the saddest thing I've seen today. It's so unfair that these children have DMD. I can't even imagine what the parents are going through. I hope they find a cure for this thing.

  • @eggmancorp What the hell is DND?

  • @the2009guy DMD is a progressive neuromuscular condition, mostly seen in boys. Their muscles get weaker and weaker. Most end up in a wheelchair around 12-13 years old, and die of respiratory or heart problems in their 20s.

  • @Abnormaldiversity Thats sad..... only 20-30 years to live.. ugh

  • PROTEIN!!!!

  • I am a teacher who works with students with many different ability levels. Take a look at the desktop desk and how it helps provide better classroom and table access in academic and social settings.

  • I have DMD :(

  • I can inform you, that everyone can help finding a cure for

Muscular Dystrophy. Please write BOINC or worldcommunitygrid into the search field of Youtube or any search engine for further info

Running the Programm BOINC on your homecomputer you donate unused computer capacity to researchers. One of their projects is about

Muscular Dystrophy. Please note that this is fundametal research. So, a cure cannot be expected too soon, unfortunately. BOINC is safe and has been working several years now.

  • Ok, God bless you and keep you and restore your health too! Hugs and Happy 2010!

  • Thank you very much and same to you

  • Its actually fatty tissue, not muscle even though it looks like that

  • my little boy has DMD and what I was told is that the disease causes the muscles to degenerate and is replaced by basically fat cells, making the calves enlarged.

  • this way can cure muscular destrophy

  • Unfortunately it can't cure it.. it just postpone the symptoms.. Slowing down the progression of the disease. Other therapies in test can cure it in the future.

  • my little brother has this hes only 8

  • The videos are nice: clear and classical. How can one own a copy?
