Spork, thats what happens when you work with little girly auger rigs and hack drillers. Come on out to the gas patch. And as far as I know we dont get paid if the rig breaks down or if tooling breaks. Thats our loss, at least it is with my company.
Ha, environmental scientist. I get a kick out of you guys. Not saying all of them, but a vast majority that I work with are just a bunch of punk kids right out of college. They dont know a damn thing about drilling, well installation, or how to run a job smoothly. And to top it off they never wanna take advice from drillers who do the job everyday. I dont know how long youve been in the field, but if youre new take some advice, Dont piss your drillers off.
@stompinmick hah, drillers! I get a kick outta you guys. Not saying all of them, but a vast majority are whiney babies who purposely cause their rigs to break so they can charge downtime, never properly deal with heaving sands, count material bags, hydrate bentonite long enough before cementing up a bore, and never take direction considerately. When I started in the industry, I trusted drillers. Then I read the well standard for my state and realized 90% of the time, they screwing up wells.
All about them.95s been on it for 3 years
