i don't respect him at all. in other footage lecavalier was trying to look at what was happening with his player who got hit and chara was pulling on him, trying to fight a smaller guy. obviously hes gonna get him down and he puts his arm up showing everyone how "tough" he is.

yeah but he knows he can beat anyone and he just put on a show holding his arm up that high. he could have just pinned him to the ground and that's the end of that.

he didnt hold his arm up to put on a show, he was telling lecavalier that he's won the fight instead of just completely anhilating lecavaliers pretty face right there. it was very respectful act by chara whether you see it that way or not.

telling lecavalier and the whole crowd that he won. just look at him after the fight. he's so proud of winning that he just stands there to make sure everyone knows it was him that wrestled the big lecavalier to the ground. chara doesnt fight. he just wrestles and pulls people to the ground then makes it look like he beat them up.

I like Chara, I think he's an underrated gentleman on the ice. Just here, he could have scattered Vinny's teeth all over the rink. A lot of players wouldn't have showed that kind of toughness but restraint at the same time.
