  • @bendawson1 Sorry about that, added you - I have been so busy doing other stuff! ...I vow to finish every goddamn MMISL song on tab before the day MMISL ever form back together....(which would either be increadibly amazing, stop an incoming apocalypse and or open a blackhole in space and time)

  • Amazing song

  • drummer is SICK.

  • Such a sick band! Such a shame they split up!

  • Still one of the best albums...BRING BACK MMISL!!!!

  • i like how the name of the song has came from the first transformers animated cartoon =P wud neva of thought that wud be used as a title for a song =P

  • MATHCORE FTW

  • Any guitar tabs lurking about for these guys? I would love some..

  • Working on them now!

  • Brill! let me know when you have some. I imagine some of their tracks wont be in standard tuning..

  • Drop D tuning for some

  • everyone chill out. :] it doesn't really matter what EXACT genre the band is or how good the drummer is...they're all extremely talented in their own right, and they're an incredible band that will surely be missed! just listen and enjoy. :]

  • its a crash/ride dickwad

  • I dunno, I have the same kit, and I've played along with the same song a lot better.

  • you are wrong

    die

  • no one gives a shit.

  • Love math rock, cant find any of this bands stuff anywhere though :(

  • no realy its math rock

  • ? i think you replied to the wrong comment.

  • its what people who think theyr interesting call math rock

whereas its just post hard core with polyrhythms

  • errmmmmm

    try itunes

  • haha. you can't really fit this band into a genre. they're just AMAZING. too bad they're gone, they really pack an original punch to a dying music scene.

  • not to mention this band has a certain vibe .

  • Fall of Troy has nothing on this band's work. Probably one of the most unique bands to come about in a long time...shame they split.

  • Wow.

Blending post hardcore with intricate post-punk into non-linear stylings.

    Pretty good.

    Drums could be better.

  • It's called "math rock".

  • That is wrong.

    It's post-post-hardcore.

  • no. its called math rock.

  • Im pretty sure there are alot of bands that sound similar to the fall of troy but they are all different in some way ...

  • this band sounds nothing like the fall of troy thank you very much

  • @krispykreme they wish

  • @krispykreme who the hell would say such a thing?

  • @squaids13 someone who knows what they're talking about

  • @krispykreme thank you!

  • you couldn't be more wrong you fucking faggot

  • You starting again? ;)

I feel like we went through this already...

    Maybe cause we actually did.

  • Wow, this is really really amazing

  • Still the raddest band...a shame they are no more...BRING BACK MMISL!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • This is the shit!!!

  • Agreed

    =]

  • I miss MMISL.

  • you obviously have never heard any song by fall of troy r-tard.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm big fans of them both....

Bit of a stupid link to make tbh...

I think the similarities stop at the fact theat they are both kinda experimental and they are guitar based bands...

    I think that's it...

Was there any FoT song you had in mind? y'know, maybe justify yourself a bit...

  • Comment removed

  • Wtf are you on about?

I just asked, just justify yourself a little.

Maybe you might enlighten me to your views by way of some miracle....

But then you you start chatting about "nu-grind" (which I wouldn't really classify MMISL with) and out of nowhere, tell me to die..

If you were aiming to redeem yourself as anything other than a twat, then I think you might have failed.. Gratz ;D

  • Comment removed

  • Yeh but's not what I am at all though is it...

And considering that's ALL you got to say, I guess you didn't really have a strong point at all.

  • Comment removed

  • "Man", you're still posting about this too.

Atleast I got a point to what I'm saying, and not just posting random lame insults ;)

  • its an obvious comparison if you think of the angular syle, unconventional song structures, the screams in the backing vocals... most things to be honest.

    x

  • Minus the "screams" bit. Yeh I agree.

But tbh, they're still a different sound.

Or atleast seem it to me anyways, but I definitely see a link.

But you could find similarities like that between lots of bands.

I just thought it was hardly a strong similarity enough to call them a "Fall of Troy rip off", which I think is what he said.

    That's why I replied.

  • Meet me in stLouis = fu**ing incredible!

  • is this mathrock?

  • its sciencerock

  • rofl

    is this band separated?

  • Unfortunately yes.

  • sick

  • After weeks of waiting, and after months searching for it, my copy of the album finally arrived.

Trust me, people, words are not enough to describe how this album feels...

Definitely, it's not an album to be heard in the dark, but in the most sunny day of the year, riding a bike or riding a skateboard... Try it!

  • lol... your not wrong! for some reason i got alot better at skating whilst listening to this album.. its a definate confidence booster.. This album is definatley Awesome in the true sense of the word.

  • Such a good band! So pissed off that their last show was in my hometown of Norwich but I didn't discover them until about a month after they played!

  • I was so glad i was able to play with this band in December 2007 even though they lacked their vocalist they still kicked so much ass!

However i was privileged to play with Shield Your Eyes (Toby's new band) back in April 2008 - Man they rock too! :)

Pisses me off this band split :( So amazing...oh well...will keep listening to them till the end of time even if everybody forgets them.

    MMISL Forever! :)

  • Shame I never saw them live. Should have really because my friend is Tobys (lead singer) brother.

  • well done

  • Comment removed

  • if you knew a relative of the band then you would marry them?

you're not a true fan. you're superficial and beg for claim to fame.

a true fan would appreciate the music.

and a true spouse would marry for love, not for a band.

plus your argument is irrelevant and provides little justification for your silly attacks at riteguard. I dont know what he/or she did to make you write that but it teems with stupidity and ignorance.

    Also, spell your words correctly.

  • there is no adjective to describe how amazing this band was.

    fucking great.

p.s. they kind of did like at the drive-in, didn't they? this video came on MTV2, and they broke up shortly afterward. they kept it d.i.y., and for this they are to be commended. we'll miss you, boys.

  • too good 0:48

  • orgasmic

  • This reminds me of another group that sort of had this same sound called From Fiction, but they were from Canada, and this group sings more. They broke up, too. I wonder why bands as awesome as this always break up. We need guys like this!!!!

  • this song gives me goosebumps and makes me bleed outta my ass, i love it

  • sick band!
