  • If you believe in looking at your watch, your calender and time in general, then you (in part) believe in astrology!

  • No proof of God = no God. I am sick of having religion rammed down my throat all the time.

  • wow this just makes me love you so much more! :D (...not in a gay way..lol ;))

  • I am now a lifetime subscriber

  • Hey Sven, I understand your point that you want proof, or evidence, but all you have to do is wait for it. Think as a hunter. You must lie and wait for your prey (the evidence) to come out of hiding, and reveal itself. Then you will see.

  • @Sirradal But he can remain an atheist until "it" is revealed a?

  • @drahcirsama Yes he can. (very late in replying, but I had alot on my plate, i joined the USMC, so i'm pretty busy)

  • Brilliant what Sven is saying is true! People just dont want to accept it.

  • the ouija board was originally intended to communicate with your subconscious mind, I don't know where or when it turned to ghosts...

  • great..u hit the nail on the head...presidents,doctors ect..inteligent people believing in the supernatural..haha...blind faith i guess..they believe in what they believe...with no reasoning what so ever..they need it i guess..well kindness is my religion and i wish us all well

  • i know, its jus stories and beliefs tht has gone to far over the past 2000 years, people need to start thinkin inside the box, because there is no "outside the box"

  • toffee gollop lmao

  • Lack of evidence isn't evidence in itself.

  • the world spirituality doesn't just refer to allegedly spiritual beings

  • You`re totally right Sven, look how much harm religion has caused throughout history and where`s the proof ?! If god loves us so much why not give us the comfort of knowing he exists?

  • Everything eyou talked about I completely agree with.

6:15 ya, that pisses me of too, this country (U.S.) was not founded on Christian values, the founding fathers where about as anti religion as one can get

  • THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! Finally I see someone with a level head on his shoulders. Too many people are gullible and uneducated. Your statement about "Hearsay" is a big statement I use against people claiming something really happened. I want to thank you for sharing all the way from America. Keep up the good work.

  • There is no proof of Jesus Christ? :)

If you think that The Bible is not good enough then how about Roman historians? They did not like the guy at all, why would they write about Him? Especially if He did not exist in the first place.

  • Keep religion off the comment box. Guy's just ranting his mind out. If you don't like it, go do your own ranting video pro-religion and be done with it.

  • Erm.. So it goes like this? I make a video where I claim your mom is stupid, but you are not allowed to comment.. what would you think :)

Also. People who claim that there has been a lot of evil done because of religion should first make sure they know what they talk about.

Before saying Bible is just a story book I suggest you take a look inside. Did you know christmas does not have anything to do with Christianity? Take a look and find out that everything you thought was Christianity is not.

  • a few years ago a guy wrote about a hobbit that follows a wizard around to destroy evil ... is that true as well lol ??

  • Does the hobbit book speak about actual places and historical events? Has that book prophecied correctly the future?

If this is the case, I would say the book is true. Thing is, this is the case with The Bible. You think I am crazy until you read it yourself.

I used to think this way too :)

Try googleing "people and dinosaurs living together", you'll be amazed. 65 million years right? :)

  • Ive read most of the Bible and sorry for my ... straight up defense answer :D my belief is that there is a divine being which created us but i do not believe the divine being to be "God" as depicted in the Bible. Simply a "thing" which has the power to create life ... the same way i could create a ham sanwhich. I believe in life after death purely based on my past experiences ghosts (lol starting to sound like a nutcase now)

  • Dude, are you sure that it was The Bible you read?

If you have read the most of it and still think God is just a "thing" that has the power to create life, then I seriously doubt it was The Bible. Sounds more like Theosophy to me.

The Bible is the only scripture that has strong historical evidence and it has predicted the future. See king Nebuchadnezzar's dream and compare it to actual world history. The same prophecy appears there in two more places with other evidence, look them up.

  • I have read the Bible XD part of my religious education course , but personally I just can't believe in something which either cannot be proved or makes any logical sense the same way you cannot believe that I am currently juggling 8 tennis balls as I write this. (I love religious debates :D)

  • Btw. I am not talking religious stuff. I am indeed talking about things you can prove. Things that are written thousands of years before they took place. Daniel 2:31-46. This is not about believing.

And how exactly ghosts that you have experienced make more logical sense?

How can you prove big bang? Science says so, right. Science also says global warming is our fault, but for some reason Greenland is called green land not Iceland.

Were vikings high or did they too have factories like we do now?

  • ghosts arn't logical lol but I've seen them and believe in them (to an extent) just because someone profited somethings doesn't make them unbelievably amazing. I predict that in 3 days 1 person will die in Russia ... wow i made a prediction which came true. global warming is our fault, thats a fact. the very fact your on your computer reading this is contributing to global warming. How can I proove the big bang ? I can't the same way you can't PROOVE that the Bible is legit :D

  • What is the biggest greenhouse gas? It's water vapor. Co2 is about 3%. Human made co2 is about 2-3% OF that 3%. That makes way less than 1%. Global warming is a big business. They want you to feel guilty and buy a new car, because they can now sell them all over the planet. BIG BUCKS.

Did you know why Al Gore never presents temp. and co2 graphs on top of each other?

Because if you do that you will see that first temp. changes and then so2 follows. Search youtube for scientists who confront him.

  • Global warming isn't a scare tactic in some marketing scheme. Evidence for it is irrefutable. I agree people are using this to make money, but thats what humans do. But global warming isn't as big of an issue as its made out to be... for instance impacts of natural disasters on average are not getting worse when they theoretically should be. As for the book of revelations ... number of the beast 666 ?? 144,000 from tribes, judgement day at an unknown date HA what a useless prediction.

  • Now is it really?

Greek and Roman letters have numerical values. Vatican calls itself VICARIUS FILII DEI. Yup - adds up as 666. It means Vicar of Christ - in place of Christ. Guess how this is in Greek - Anti Kristos.

To clarify - Catholicism is not real Christianity.

They have changed God's commandments and done exactly what Bible predicts the Antichrist would do.

That is the reason people think religion kills - it is not what Bible teaches. At all.

  • As for global warming. Did I say it does not go warmer?

No. I said it is not our fault. It has been warm before - Greenland was called greenland with a reason.

But I am going to stop now. I hope at least someone who reads this will have questions raised that they will start looking answers for. KeithTruth on youtube has a lot of answers. Look him up!

  • As for the bible. It's not just one thing that someone said. The same prophecy is also told in Daniel 7. Beast represents kingdom. Check it out. These symbols these beasts have are historically proven to be symbols of these kingdoms. Lion - Babylon, Bear - Persia etc.

And there's more. Book of Revelation for example. Read it and look around.

Refusing to look at the evidence is not the lack of evidence :)

  • I cannot paste a link here but there is a 27 minute video on Amazing Discoveries TV site. Search for "478 - In Place of God".

  • I agree with you entirely sven:P

  • Great video man. I enjoyed it :)

  • Also spirituality/religious feeling is how we're able to learn more about the universe. Ask any scientist/researcher what motivates them. They'll say their love of science. Well their love is their religious feeling. Cosmic Religion

  • God = Does not have to mean a supernatural being. (I believe its a definition) But there are more definitions to the word. Why dont people understand this lol.. So an Atheist state is actually a wrong state. To believe in Spinoza's God would be the right state in believing god. God could mean = Creator and Ruler of the Universe. In which we know nothing created the universe of what it is today other than itself. Nothing is higher than it. Other than itself. So it rules/created itself. = God.

  • This is a very very common misconception:

    Atheist definition:

A person without a belief in, or one who lacks belief in the existence of gods.

  • Well its either you believe in God or not. God = The creator/Ruler of the universe. It only became Super-N due to misinterpretation.

The universe = The creator of itself and Ruler of itself. Because nothing (or atleast that we know of) is higher than the universe. For the universe consists of the laws of nature/nature itself/etc. We call this God or simply the Universe or Nature. So ask yourself, do you not believe in God? Or do you not believe in A God (The god some of these religions give)?

  • My dictionary makes it more a verb:

"a person who denies or disbelieves the existence of a supreme being or beings."

    An active disbelief.

  • When you mentioned Unicorns and Goblins, you failed to mention Leprechauns, too. They're supposed to bring you luck, but why is Britain in such financial ruin?! Because they also don't exist!! :D

There are some that hold a belief in greater power, such as Gods, then there are those, much like yourself (if I may say so) that are realistic and only believe in things they can see and touch.

  • You can't see your own brain, yet you know its there. You can't see pluto, but you're pretty sure it exists.

  • Gravity would be a better example.

With the knife or a telescope the latter two are demonstrable. Mind you so is gravity...

  • Gravity is demonstratable only to the point we know it exists, but not what causes it. Ya, mass, hard for the layman to prove though without taking someone else's word for it.

  • I'm sorry to hear about your daughter.

  • Yay! Sven is a skeptic. Loving it :-D

  • Its the same with the Bible. In your mind since there is no obvious and immedite repercussions for breaking God's laws, they become insignificant to you, but that does not mean His laws are not there. He promised that every thought, word and deed is being recorded and you will give an account to Him on your day in His court. On that day, the laws that you ignored and broke will come into play and the real consequences will become clear to you.

  • Says a bronze age story book written by....man.

You know, the same book with dragons, unicorns and talking snakes in it.

You as a Christian denounce thousands of religions, I denounce just once more than that :-)

  • I am not here to convince you of the validity of the Bible. But if it is true (and it is) then shouldnt you look into the matter, just in case? I mean really look into it. I listened to your commentary and it s full of sweeping statements, mostly half-baked ideas that you had heard or read about on youtube. Read Exodus 20 and see how you measure up in the event if the Bible was true and you had to appear before God. He says its appointed for man to die once; then the judgement. Is it a lie?

  • Perhaps you should look into Hinduism, Scientology and Islam "just in case"?

  • HAve you ever given any thought why the Bible speaks such a lot abour this sacrificing of animals in the OT and in the NT there is the cross, a crucifixion, Lamb of God, born again, judgement , Revelation, heaven & hell?

What I mean is have you ever asked yourself the "WHY" of the whole Bible?

  • Scientology was originally created as a fictional story, by the author. We KNOW it was a work of fiction. How it ever became a religion is beyond me.

  • Jesus when asked summed up the whole of his laws this way (aka God's laws for dummies)

Read Matthew 22: 37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'[a] This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Svengali have you ever broken this in any way ever in your life. Everyone has and He will judge us by it.

  • Of course, I don't believe in your lord, so how can I love him?

You do realise the 'accounts' about Jesus Christ are not eye witness accounts right? You do further realise authorship of a lot of the accounts isn't even known?

It's a common misconception that the new testament was written by the disciples.

So what you have is quite literally a story book, often written several generations after the alleged event. So they weren't even written in the same lifetime!

Why do you subscribe to this?

  • Besides you dont have to love the lord per se, like many do as in praying and such. The bible says praying is worthless anyway. But since in the bible says the lord is seen through the nature. You love the nature right?

  • Praying is worthless?

    Luke 21: 36

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

  • And when you spread out your palms, I hide my eyes from you. Even though you make many prayers, I am not listening; with bloodshed your very hands have become filled.

    Isaiah 1:15

  • So you're suggesting they contradict? If the book is full of contradictions, how can you trust it? Perhaps God is the author of confusion?

  • Im not suggesting anything but it says he shuns away from the hands that are filled with blood. Think about the U.S. Population for a second. All of us finace a bunch of murderers. The more we work for them is the more we support more death. We've let ourselves follow in the path of liars, theives, and killers. Other than that, I dont really care because I dont pray anyway, nor do I care if the bible is wrong or not. Also it wasnt God who wrote it. it was man.

  • I'm not in the US personally. But yes I do agree you seem to be a bunch of war mongers (at least collectively).

  • Because many over here allow their patriotism to blind them lol

  • Sounds about right.

  • Well said sir .

  • svengalie,

I do believe in him and don't love him :) I personally don't see how you can love a person you've never met, no matter what they've done for you. I know for certain military personal do exist, and have died for me, I feel no love for them either. They're just strangers.

  • Its the same when you tell lies to people, knowing that if they found out, it would be embarressing. As long as you are getting away with breaking the laws of the road, in your mind they become insignificant. But what is telling is that what if a police helicopter had followed you the whole way and recorded everything. When you least expect it they arrested you, charge you with multiple offences and haul you in front of judge. Then they do become significant again because of their consequences

  • Svengali, watched you vid. Loved the bike. I know the route you are on. Its immaterail whether you actually beleive in God or not. The word sinner actually means lawbreaker.

Watching you ride I can see you constantly and repeatedly ignore the laws of the road. You even knew this because on the sea front you braked when you saw the police car and when it passed you, you looked in both mirrors to check they hadnt turned around. Why would you do that? Guilt. You knew you had broken the law.

  • Which laws am I constantly and repeatedly breaking?

  • svengalie,

I think your searches were wrong.

And if we're just machines, why respect others? Respect is meaningless if we're just machines.

  • For the reasons I've already given.

  • Your reasons are not valid. If we are just machines, our emotions/thoughts not real (just electrical impulses), then they are irrelevant.

  • My reasons are totally valid.

Humans recognise to live in a harmonious society we must all be nice to each other.

for others to be nice to be i should be nice to them.

Why MUST "machines" all run around being nasty and killing each other?

  • > Why MUST "machines" all run around being nasty and killing each other?

Why exist at all if we're JUST machines.

  • If there is no spirit, and we're just machines, there is no such thing as being nasty. Machines do not have rights (not legally or ethically).

  • Infact I was thinking about this.

Over 1.1 billion people are Secular/Nonreligious/Agnostic/Atheist.

These people have no problem with morals, it's long been proved that religion doesn't bring with it morals - Christians get divorced at the same rate as non Christians.

Nor do these people run around raping, murdering etc. Infact you'll find they conform to your 10 commandments as much as Christians do.

  • Actually the divorce rate in my church is 1/10th the national average :)

You missed my point. I'm saying if there is no God, we are stupid for pursuing morals.

Further, if there is no God, we SHOULD just do as we please, there is no point in not doing so. After all, if we're just machines we should have no more rights than machines.

  • Where does 'machines' keep coming from?

The point is we DO do as we please, and we please to get along with each other. Why should the default non god position be rape and pillage, I don't get it?

  • If you could be rich by doing nothing more than violating the rights of a machine, would you? I would. If I gave you a computer tower which was locked, told you there was a million dollars inside, but you had to smash it open to take it would you?

Of course, its JUST a computer tower.

So if there is no God, and we are just machines, why should we show any more respect? Why shouldn't we just take what we want? These thoughts and feelings we have are NOTHING more than electrical impulses.

  • "If there is no spirit, and we're just machines."

  • I think when they say 'machines', they are talking about beings with no soul, lifeless robots and the like. Just a theory.

  • Well the western world was founded on Christian morality. (Not the religion) but Morality. Which was first from the Catholic churches I believe. You obviously dont need to be involved in any of those, but thats where the western morals came from. Which allowed us to become as powerful as successful as we are.

  • svengalie i 100% agree with you.

  • So what do u believe will happen when u die? Im a christian and will be going to heaven. And i completely disagree with u saying christianity is forced upon americans. My parents never forced anything on me a go to church by choice. This country was founded on christianity thats y its on the money.

  • I'll be put in a box and buried in the ground.

What will happen to my "state" my "mind"? Much the same as what was before I was born.

  • yes i think just like you mate wots the point in spendin you're whole life believing in something that may not be true?

  • James 1:5, what if it could be proven to you so that you, on a personal level, knew it was true?

If *you* felt it to be true, would that be sufficient evidence for you?

  • Begining to end , a great achievement (4 Me)

  • toffee gollop haha i like that, what sort of bike do you have, sounds gorg

  • ZZR1400 or ZX14 depending on where you live.

    Kawasaki

  • Can anybody believe this guy? He's English and he doesnt ride a TRIUMPH, now thats blasphemy.

I see youve insulted the flying spaghetti monster, fine, but whatever you do dont bring the garlic bread into this.

  • On a somewhat unrelated note, if there is no God, and we're just biological machines, our thoughts nothing more than electrical impulses, given that I believe we should have no more rights than animals.

If our very feelings are nothing more than electrical impulses, without substantial meaning, then there should be no cause to respect others. Take what you want, hurt who you will, death to all those who stand in my way :) After all, we're just computers right...?

  • Of course there is cause to respect others.

I recognise if I do nice things then there is a higher chance of people doing nice things to be.

The social groups that worked together over times gone by survived. We evolved this way,

I don't need the threat of hell to not hurt people, kill people etc.

  • We evolve if we only die and no longer exist?

Why exist if we simply die off and no longer exist?

  • I don't have all the answers. But I also don't place an invisible sky monster in the parts I can't explain.

  • Ah, so this is where the problem lays! Who said anything about invisible? Who said anything about unseen?

  • I did.

Unless of course you believe the myths written in a bronze age book.

Funny how god revealed himself every other day in the old testament yet hasn't done so for the last four thousand years?

  • Actually he has revealed himself in the last four thousand years, more than once. And yes, I mean physically, viewable by the human eye.

There are prophets and apostles upon the Earth today just as there were in Biblical times. The heavens are not closed.

  • To whom, and when?

  • To Joseph Smith in the Spring of 1820, and several prophets following.

    Search Google for:

    Joseph Smith's first vision.

  • PS: Why four thousand years? Christ was here little over two thousand ago.

  • I said old testament.

  • Yes of course, sorry.

Still, God *has* revealed himself in recent history, and God still calls prophets and apostles to this Earth who bear witness of him, just as they did in the Old Testament.

  • You mention religion being oppressive. I wonder how that is. If a religion has a belief, but does not force them upon you, how is that oppressive. I'm from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We consider woman as equals. We don't baptize those of PRACTICING homosexual orientation, but that's hardly oppressive. If you don't like it, don't join. Every club/organization has rules.

Far greater a threat, I feel, is the US dropping A-bombs and killing millions, things like that.

  • But that's a point. Religion IS forced upon people. I know quite a few Americans cannot live a normal life without PRETENDING to be believers. If their friends/family knew they were athiest they'd be run out of town almost.

I mean look at it. It's in the judiciary system, you can't give evidence in a lot of states without being of a certain religious flavour. You cannot be the president. It's on the money. The laws of the land are based on your religion.

    It is forced upon people.

  • > IS forced upon people

Than that's just bad implementation. Can't blame the religion for the fault of its followers.

So your argument isn't with religion, its with social economics. Again not the fault of the religion.

I don't think your comments on the judiciary system are at all correct, can you give example?

I do not believe you've made your case.

  • Look it up, more states than not in the USA will not allow a witness that is not religious.

  • actually im not sure on the "more states than not" bit. But look it up, it's true.

  • I don't think that's right (not even in the Bible belt). Show evidence for your claim.

  • I don't see any evidence of this.

  • I cannot paste a url here.

I did a couple of google searches that provided evidence.

Perhaps you should try that ;)

  • My comments on the judiciary system being uncorrect?

Arkansas Constitution Article XIX "No person who denies being of a God shall hold any office in the civil departments of this state, nor be competent to testify as a witness in court."

Maryland, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, North and South Carolina and Texas all have similar clauses. I can't fit them in this box...but they exist, look them up.

  • 1Billion and 100,million? Wow...I can see why the Bible put this verse in

Isaiah 5:14Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

  • Absolutely, I agree with your facts.

Its in line with what Jesus predicted would happen when speaking of the love people who once had for God:

Matthew 24:12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.

  • I think you're talking about the 1874 state constitution which is no longer in affect.

  • Why is it so hard to believe me over a simple fact? LOOK IT UP.

  • My response didn't post.

A 1961 decision by the U.S. Supreme Court makes state-based laws regarding rights by religion null and void.

Article 6 of the U.S. Constitution states:

"No religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States."

The free exercise clause of the First Amendment to the Constitution states:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."

  • svengalie,

I've posted 4 non-Biblical sources of Christ's existence (written in his time period), but they keep disappearing from the thread, are you deleting them?

  • I've never deleted a single comment from my videos good or negative in my life.

    I'd never do that.

    I enjoy open honest debate.

Seriously, I'm going to be d now :) nn

  • I mentioned: - Nag Hammadi library - The Apocrypha - Dead Sea Scrolls

and the 4th I've forgotten. I'll remember though.

  • Found them. The link to view all comments isn't always working for me, for that matter the "Post a Text Comment" link isn't always present either when I'm logged in. Both seem hit or miss.

Annoying web developers. If I wrote the code, it'd be perfect :)

  • Out of curiosity, do you believe that men landed on the moon? After all the only eye-witnesses (?) to the event are those paid by the organization making the claim in the first place.

  • You're comparing the historicity of Jesus to men landing on the moon?

It's hard to write this without sounding derogatory. I edited out a LOT of parts that might have offended.

  • Who has seen the landing sight aside from those paid by the organisation that made the claim? I don't know a lot about telescopes, but I imagine you can't see the landing sight with one?

  • From earth, no it's impossible. I forget the stats but I think you can't see anything smaller than a football pitch.

Don't you think other countries would love to refute it?

I've seen many satellite pics by "competing" countries in the spacerace.

(Now I remember even the hubble cannot see the landing site! - but this doesn't make it any less true)

  • > Don't you think other countries would love to refute it?

    That's conjecture, not proof.

So, by the same token, how do you know there was an Earth landing? Do you have proof, I can neither seen nor feel it personally. Or will you admit that sometimes we have to rely upon the eye witness account of other people? If so, there is no reason the eye witness accounts of New Testament sources cannot also be a reasonable source.

  • If we're changing subjects. The Russians would have loved nothing more than it to be a big lot of fakery. You don't see them screaming from the rooftops. You know why? BECAUSE IT'S TRUE.

Eye witnesses? The landing sight has been seen by more people than were there at the time. (And I'm not talking about TV).

  • i love this video - love how you word your views - thats exactly the same as my views on religion and spirituality - except better worded... lol

  • "From accounts written by Roman historians such as Tacitus and Pliny the Younger, the Greek theologian Origen, and the Jewish historian Josephus, we know that Jesus lived. But there is no mention by any of them of his birth, his ministry or miracles."

This was written by Harry Edwards, of the Atheist Foundation of Australia, as one example.

  • Which ones of these are eye witness accounts?

For that matter I'll even let you have the bible back, found any eye witness accounts yet?

Many of your examples are written SEVERAL generations after he was alleged to have lived.

It is not well accepted. If it wasn't 23:00 and I wasn't limited to 500 characters I might try harder.

Keep coming, I'll be here tomorrow.

I'll give you adult debate, no name calling, sarcasm or insults :)

  • Well I'm British, I can't promise on the sarcasm :)

  • That's OK, my family is British, I realize most of you are arrogant pricks

    (kidding)

  • Other accounts then: - The Dead Sea Scrolls - The Nag Hamadi Library - The Apocrypha - The Pauline Epistles

  • Now we're using accounts from before his birth? Whew!

  • Sorry, who did I mention pre-Christ?

  • The Dead Sea Scrolls?

  • Yes...

  • svengalie,

Its well accepted, yes even in atheist educated circles, that he in fact did walk the Earth. We know this because we have several confirming records by different people and peoples that Jesus lived.

An atheist, who is learned, doesn't argue that the man didn't walk the Earth, he argues that he was JUST a man, and not divine.

  • Okokok

" we have several confirming records by different people and peoples that Jesus lived."

Tell you what, give me THREE examples of this? (Non biblical examples)

  • I gave you 4 (see above as the quick comment didn't reply to your message specifically), how's that? :)

  • Mitrosh,

I'm religious, but I assure you I'm also both very intelligent and analytical. In fact I'm a computer programmer, and tend to be very logical and unemotional about most things :)

  • Must suck when your wife says she loves you, and you won't believe her till she proves it. After all, everything she has ever done could simply be for her own gain :) Her actions aren't proof of anything other than her ... well, actions themselves.

As for your comment on Christ, even atheist historians know he existed, the debate is his divinity.

  • You're simply wrong. I got a thousand pound bet you can't find an athiest historian who "knows" he existed. Show me some evidence? Please. Because you'd be the first person in history!

  • Sven i totaly agree with you.

People that are totally religious are stupid no doubt. Just look at the Jehovah's Witness people. They really believe everyone who does not believe in what they believe goes to hell.. and since the beginning of this sect they say 'THE END IS NEAR!' sooo yes ok the end is near.. 1908 it was near , 1918 it was near 1930 it was near.. ok if you'd believe in what they say the world should have endet about 80 times now...

  • anyways i think the bible is nothing more then a storytelling book for people who don't have an own opinion.

And i really denounce religion for offending woman, gay, etc. etc....

  • Actually that's not what witnesses believe :)

I'm pretty well educated on a lot of religions...

  • Anyway, I just wandered to your video due to yours being mentioned on Mordeth13's vlog and so, bye.

P.S. English people and S Africans seem to be snobby and rude. Maybe Australians too.

They act all elitist and aren't friendly like Latin nations. Just learn to relax and accept other people for who they are you English people and English transplants.

  • Also, I noticed that you seem to take pleasure and have great satisfaction (due to your giggling, ridiculing laughter) in putting down other people who have different philosophies and beliefs.

No, I don't belong to a religious group. But I don't go around putting down my friend's religious beliefs or lack of beliefs.

I prefer establish common ground instead of pointing out and laughing at other people different view points and practices. LIfe is too short to be a snobby arsehole.

  • So, you hate religious people and love gays, women rights. Are you a feminist?

You do realize religion is just politics (group vying for power and control of people). Just like Gay rights and women rights and racial rights groups. Religious groups just happen to have a longer history of power/politics.

Sure there might be actual philosophy behind the groups but the groups themselves and the way they are run is just like a political party.

You just happen to favor 1 party over another.

  • I didn't say I hate religious people.

    I didn't say I love gays.

Your wilful ignorance is inexcusable and it disgusts me.

  • You think JUST like me sven. And that makes me feel a lot better about it.

  • Politics, and the the correct type of oil to use, also is much like kicking a hornets nest. I tend to keep all of those thoughts to myself as I don't have the time or inclination to argue, or debate,

with someone who already has their mind make up on the issue. It's pointless for the most part, unless someone is truly asking for some constructed informed guidelines. I am more of a science person, but still wonder what happened 100 billion years before the big bang.

  • @5:35 dispensations?

  • Aha, that's hilarious, if you believe in the Ouija board then your stupid, and if I've offended you, then I don't care because your stupid. classic mate.

  • You god damn athiest!

There is an interesting book entitled "why do people believe in weird things" which investigates the reasons why people so easily adopt faith based beliefs that make no sense.

Ironically I am planning a motorbike trip to London on Nov Friday 13th and several people have said "please don't go on the 13th" so I am going anyway.

  • .. but last time I headed to London I ended up high siding on the first major corner out of my pad. Lesson learned - go easy on corners in the wet when the tyres are cold. And after speaking to an instructor, advanced knowledge - if the back end loses traction in that way, don't drop the revs or it will high side.

  • i wrote my bike off on the 13th.... but that was september :P im sure ur be fine *touch wood* hehe

  • pan your audio please chief :(

  • well you didnt offend me.

    i agreed on every account.

the big bloke with the beard had it right.

    no not god.... darwin :).

  • Sven I hope you know you're now facing eternal damnation. The central and most important law of all the Middle Eastern religions is 'Thou shalt not think!' Most people have a switch in their mind that says 'Stop, go no further' when ever they get too close to having a blasphemous thought.

You ate from the apple Sven, and now you are going to Hell.

  • hahahahahaha nice

  • The writers of the bible lacked cameras so i guess they were forced to write down what they saw. The Gospels are 4 eyewitness accounts of Jesus' life.

  • Incorrect :( This is the biggest problem. Most people who warm the seats of the church take the same opinion as you.

    It is wrong.

Even Christian scholars acknowledge that that they are not eye witness accounts.

Drop me a mail if you (genuinely) want to know more.

  • Good point I agree, but I try to keep an open mind. Because I believe in dark matter even tho we have yet to detect it.

  • I'm no scientist, but it's that like saying "I believe in gravity, even though we're yet to detect it"?

  • Not really because we can detect gravity. There are alot of strong theoretical things that we havn't detected yet. Its not because they are not there but because we havn't designed an instrument to read them yet.`Unlike evolution and gravity where the evidence is pretty clear.

  • again im not a scientist. But we don't get these theoretical things without a means to demonstrate they exist. It's not like science one day says "OOOOoooo yea, I bet unicorns exist!"

  • True, but even Einstein didn't believe in black holes. All I'm saying is that everyone should keep an open mind otherwise we are just as bad as the religious zealots, just on the other side of the spectrum.

  • Indeed INDEED! This is my point, the open mind part (not the closed, religious mind alternative :)

  • Yeah, but just as they need to keep an open mind. We need to keep an open mind also. Maybe not that there is a guy with a beard living in the clouds but that a supernatural explanation may be possible.

  • But I thought that was the point, they, by design are living by bronze aged myths (open mind?) yet anyone outside their box's world is growing by the day by each new discovery. If religion doesn't even accept evolution then it's shrinking by each new discovery.

You sound like a closet christian? :)
