  • Incredible. I love this music

  • Николай Андреевич Римский-Корсаков

  • This is magnificent, pure genius, but sinister sounding as well!Great stuff Rimsky.

  • I'm playing this with the KJSO

  • I took a shit to this song... most epic thing in the world

  • Thumbs up if 4:57 make you jump up!

  • For a moment there it sounded like Vaughan William's Lark Ascending.

  • Too bad this breaks during the trombone II's solo.

  • Balakirev and Rimsky-Korsakov are gods

  • Doh... Violas where are you??!! Pizzicato doesn't mean "inaudible!"

  • I remember playing this classical piece in Orchestra class years ago in high school, which seems like another life time:-) This song was probably the most difficult piece I ever performed. And it was not one that was supposed to be possible for high school students to play. The music was out of print even then, and so I never thought that I would ever be able to listen to this song again. Thank you to the one who posted this. I loved listening to it again.

  • @SpeedyRoadRunner55 I'm actually playing this in my high school orchestra concert next week!

  • @Harley091594 I think it is great that you are playing this piece. Of all the music pieces, this one was the most difficult to play, & my most favourite at the same time. We were not supposed to be able to play this piece, as it was to be a piece more for a professional orchestra. But play it we did-and successfully, too. So I bet you & your orchestra will play it successfully, as well:-) Oh, and have fun with it, too, as it was a neat song to play.

  • @SpeedyRoadRunner55 Thanks, it actually went great! We played this along with Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture.

  • @Harley091594 SAME HERE Except not next week lol

  • @ 6:41 Christ is risen from the dead, Trampling down death by death, And upon those in the tombs Bestowing life!

  • This is, in my opinion, the most beautiful piece of "classical" music ever composed! It gives me goosebumps and brings tears to my eyes.

  • @Zilverzmurfen amen. i was going to say the same thing you did. by FAR the best piece of music ever written.

  • @Zilverzmurfen

i agree. glenn dicterow at the 1. violin.

  • @Zilverzmurfen i think "daphnis et chloe" gives it a good run for its money.

  • Of the Russian, by the Russians, for the WORLD! Thank you for the BEST! He is risen, indeed!

  • ORGASMIC!!!!!!
