tune your guitar!! dont use too much distortion.. you need to hit that chorus better bro.. and anything that sound like the intro has NO distortion.. along with the first verse.. the verse after the first chorus is distorted but the first half is palm muted. then when he starts taling about .."DREAMS OF FIDELITY" play HARD with no palm mute. oh .. and that outro.. work on it.. haha.. hope this helps.. keep it up bro..
Sound pretty good, one tip i have for ya is instead of just sliding your hand up and down the fretboard in the chorus, stretch out those fingers and reach for it. It'll sound a lot less sloppy.

Here's my tip to improve... Find some people to play with and set goals like learning 5 new songs a week, or 20 or 3 originals or whatever, as long as you have some goals that keep you jumping. Nothing will increase your awareness of what you are doing like playing with other people will. And there is no other experience quite like being in a tight band.

try not to slide all the time during the chorus when u play the octives cause it sounds kinda shity. other than that just sum practice will do good.

and plus your tempo is way off in the verse.
