  • I remember watching this on WGN during the 80's on my Cable System

    Good Times

I wonder do they still exist or not?

  • I remember this jingle very well!

  • Wow! Big savings on Sony Beta Hi-Fi?!!? I'm going right now and get one!! HAHA!

Seriously though, I remember seeing this when WGN first went national.

  • That Sony 36-inch was a projection set too- Mitsubishi had picture tubes in that size around the same time (the largest was 40 inches around 1994- Sony had a 4x3 40-inch tube out fairly recently but 16x9 screens were already becoming the standard when that came out.)

  • Milwakee and Oakton!

My friend got a Lionel train set from there when his folks bought new kitchen appliances.

  • 36in was giant back then, then my 56in tv must be mammoth size ;)

  • I had totally forgotten about that store but that Jingle sure brought back a lot of memories.

  • Definitely forgot the name, but not the jingle! Fantastic.

  • Town House TV and Appliances closed down around 1989-1990, I think.
