Its better to apply the new colour about an inch away from the scalp for the first 15 minutes, (middle lengths and ends).....and THEN apply to the roots....because the heat from the scalp will process the colour faster resulting in 'root glow'....where the colour is brighter at the roots.......

ive recently gone from light blonde to red, i chose a dark red because my hair was blonder than this. I really love the result - i mean yeah it will fade the first time, but after the second colour it should stay in for longer. i think that you should just go for it :)

@MrsSimLuva - Victoria from Twilight red, totally! It's the most natural looking! I think the color on this video almost looks purple... very unnatural.. seems to make the woman look old. Haley Williams's hair has more of a punk vibe to it, so unless you've got the punky wardrobe to go with it or are younger than 25, I would go with a natural red, as this is the most versatile & will go with whatever clothing style you portray & whatever age you are. Victoria red for sure!

You have to bleach your red hair 2-3 times to remove most of the red color and after that you have to color you hair with Ash Blonde. The color must be ash blonde because it's the only color which contains red's complementary color which is green. After bleaching hair is usually orange so ash blonde helps to remove the warm shade. If you will do everything right you will have cool blonde hair.

I know you put this a long time ago, but I suggest not using store bought dye if you want to go blonde from a darker color that isn't blonde. I would get it professionally done if you want good resuls, because with store bought you will either get just a lighter red, or orange. I went through that to many times, but I finally got the blonde I want by having it done at a hair salon.

u should bleach it be4 u dye it if u have dark hair... but some dying products can show up even though u hav dark hair

btw bleaching ur hair is rly bad cuz after u hav to dye it, and usually u hav to bleach it a few times
