@RHODESIA111 - oh yes !! including the one with missing verse. Actually, brings a choke to the throat - i like to think they are tears of laughter - why couldn't the rest of the world have minded it's own business ??
O.M.G. !! as having spent my formative years in Rhodesia, I really ejoyed this. God bless Jeremy - you have bought both laughter and tears in equal measure to a homesick Rhodie -
I haven't heard this song for years - in Kenya we all used to love Jeremy Taylor and I saw him live in London in the mid-70s. He was a great entertainer. I lost the signed album I had of his songs. Does anyone know if his work is still available??
Great stuff! Thanks for posting this. I only found Jeremy Taylor by surfing in the wikipedia from Cat Stevens to Alun Davies, and then Jeremy Taylor. What an amazing thing.
Just brilliant because this kind of humour has unfortunately nearly died and this is just clever clean humour rather than nowadays where humour has for some reason a need to be full of course sexual references and swearing.
How we loved this as kids!
