As for everyone can be a singer, I think this happens everywhere in the world. It's the age of mediocracy. Good singers and band are mixed up with talentless singers who "sell" just because of the image they create.

i didnt say beyond werent good, i said i want old hk music back like beyond because they were way better than the new ones. i know it happens everywhere but hk is full of shitty singers. there are no songs made in hk wow me nowadays and just makes me wondering what the hell is going in hk with all these infamous singers trying to be famous.

the only chinese singers i have heard is Nicholas Tse and jackie chan. if anyone can tell me their favorite chinese singers that would be awsome.

ur must be joking ya? Jackie chan isn't even counted as a singer ,he's singing just for fun n hk/taiwan/china entertaintment industry usually let him sing on shows cos he's kind of 'big brother'. nicholas was pretty famous in the 90's , till he got in jail. but his performance was never really seriously recognized.

Jay Chow , Beyond HK (90's), Faye Wong , Justin Lo, Shirley Kwan , Hacken Lee, F4, , there are dozens and dozens of good chinese singers.. can't list them all
