can anybody remember a childrens programme where a girl would look out of her window and these rocks would be getting closer each week? it was quite creepy what I can remember
@terry4144 It was called 'Escape Into Night'. There were six episodes, made by ATV, and first shown during April and May 1972. All the colour episodes have been wiped, but the programmes still exists on film, in black and white. The girl was called Marianne, and she was played by Vikki Chambers. The series was based on a 1958 novel 'Marianne Dreams', by Catherine Storr, and was later adapted in 1988 for the cinema, where the title was changed to 'Paperhouse'.
If he posts this with the original soundtrack and spoken words, the video clips will be removed. This way,you get to see the programme, but unfortunately, not the original soundtrack.Nobody likes it,and i dare say neither does the poster.
first part of original series is titled on youtube "Children of the Stones - Episode 1 (part 1)"
