Did you ever ask yourself how people can work in funeral homes or work as grave diggers or work in death and dying units in medical facilities or in hospice? You have to think about death when you work in such jobs. I worked on a death and dying unit for 7 years I"ve probably witnessed over 400 people take their last breath, and probably washed 5,000 or more bodies. Such jobs force you to think about death and it becomes a reality, a part of our life. We need to be ready because it's real.

Guess what...I worked in a dying hospice too and I saw just as much dead people as you I think.

But I still don't think about death all the time. If I did I couldn't enjoy life any more.

If you buy yourself a car, do you think about crashing it or selling it to someone else? or do you jump in and take a joyride instead?
