There are female politicians in Iran and Afganistan, but these are rare cases, and they have very limited authority and respectability in the eyes of their colleagues. No, but that is a requirement in many Muslim countries. This is because Islam has evolved and incorporated things into it like Christianity and Judaism. And, last thing, the fact that culture is to blame for violence doesn't justify the violence, nor does this mean that the religion is truly and essentially peaceful.

They do their best to isolate their children from the surrounding society. The Hassidics live in their own little communities and they edit whatever may negatively influence or inspire their children. I can't say that I agree with this, but this is a form of religious extremism that is tolerable. They are not stoning women, just deleting their photos.

They do their best to isolate their children from the surrounding society. Yes, some nazis did evoke the name of God, but their religious philosophy was not christian, not even particularly theistic in character. It was a sort of pagan love of tribe.

In none of Marx's writings did he advocate banning the personal belief in God. He just didn't want to allow institutional religion because he saw RELIGION as a tool of oppression (as do I). A belief in GOD was left as the domain of the individual.
