I've read that with some shirts and necklaces and other accessories you need to take the head off and I've also heard that it's easier to do face-ups with the head off sometimes, and of course what you mentioned.

haha no offense taken, but I am curious. Would you never take your BJD's head off? (for any customizing or maintenance like changing their stringing)
