Im actually really suprised that people who watch speedpaints sometimes dont know what one is I mean I learned what it was in grade 7 art class.

Kneaded erasers come in handy when doing graphite art.

You have turned yourself into a photocopy machine and you are able to replicate a photo—so what?" Not trying to belittle your work (it's all amazing) but I think he has a point. With talent like that, why not create something new?

@omgcowshaveudders it is true, but drawing like this also trains your eye and draftsmanship, and the better your ability, the better quality work you can produce yourself :)

He probably does lots of his own creations, but drawings of well known people will be found on youtube more.

@ssinseeme I think he used a pure graphite sketching pencil, maybe of different grades, like HB-4B i'd imagine. Just google or search on amazon 'graphite sketching pencils' and you'll probably find some good ones :)
