I know since the game itself is so good the graphics don't matter that much but what the hell. On ps3 and 360 they look so real and detailed it isn't funny. I have this game for the Wii. I will say it is one of the funnest games I have came across for the Wii. Graphics are kinda cartoony but it just adds to the silliness and fun for the Wii version game. Sounds is great. While the overall game is short in play time it makes up for things you need to collect and find. You also need to scan ghost and add that to your collection. After finding everything I played the game again. Great fun I would recommend to anyone looking for a fun silly Wii game.
Pros (compared to PS3): the cartoony look means that cutscene graphics and gameplay graphics are at about the same level. the lipsynching is better and the overall expressions look better. also it has the classic containment unit in the firehouse.

Reminds me of the genesis ghostbusters game with its cartoony style of graphics, and it has it's own charm, but I'm gonna stick to my ps3 version since it has way better details if you ask me.
In the firehouse the amount of details and finish in the ps3 version is amazing if you ask me and if you see the wii version after that then that is really disappionting.
Same with most ghosts and environments.

I've played this version, stuff gets stuck in the walls, some of the 360/Ps3 monsters aren't in it and the who game has gone into kiddie mode. I completed it in 8 hours and there was nothing to do after the game had finished apart from replaying the levels. Script and voices are the highlight, although I think the script was an abandoned idea for the possible Ghostbusters 3 movie. Oh and the graphic that's supposed to be Dan Ackroyd makes him look like he's got a thyroid condition.
I love the PC version and Wii version, is like playing the same game in diferent perspectives, and if you hate the Wii graphics then you never had a childhood watching "The Real Ghostbusters" cartoons on saturday morning! so go play CODMW and don't ruin good games :D

Yes, they did not do the versions from the cartoon we grew up with--but they did make some fairly decent caricatures of the intended characters.

this version is actually better then the ps3 and 360 versions, because- its longer, you can choose to be male or female, and you can roam the firehouse whenever you like (just just between missions)

Wow, why is everything on the Wii so damned cartoony? The graphics on the X-Box 360 and the PS3 really enhance the gameplay. (I also hate how PS3 graphics are always scaled back to 720 to be compatible with X-Box.)
Graphics wont count for much unless the game play is solid and often times these games lack game play cause it was made to earn a quick buck. I normally mock games that are based off movies but I have to admit I really wanna play it just because it's Ghostbusters......I'll rent it and see if I wanna keep it.
avoid the ps3 version of it. I only say i rented the ps3 version of it and the graphics on it are blurred. If you actually google it you can see where Terminal Reality confirmed the ps3 version has a defect, just thought i'd let you know
dude they fix that awhile ago. there was a patch update for it on the ps3. i know because my little brother has the ps3 version and i have the 360 version. so they fix the ps3 version and now it look the same as the 360 version.

I agree it depends on people's tv but i don't find it to be the same at all. The resolution on the ps3 is still lower than that of the 360 and obviously because of that is one reason why the graphics don't look as good.
It was even confirmed by Terminal Reality that the resolution is like 1024 by something(Can't remember) on the ps3 while the 360 is doing at least 720p. Plus thats after the patch for it. Anyway matter of opinion though
Actually they could make the Wii version much like the 360 and PS3 version, but they spent most of their technology on the motion sensors. If the Wii had controllers that are simple like the PS3 and 360, it could do so much more
Well, the graphics is only one difference between Wii and the others. One's doing something new in the world of gaming (And succeding) while the other two focus on upgrading the graphics of the tried-and-true button-based gameplay all three have done for years and years.

For the cartoony proton packs and particle throwers, they should have gone with the design from "The Real Ghostbusters", which looked quite different from the movie ones. The throwers in this video look like plastic bubble-blowing guns.
Otherwise, good idea to not attempt photo-realism on the Wii.
I own the Wii version myself and as a diehard GB fan, I must say it is in my top five favorite Wii games. Granted it may lack the bells and whistles of the XBOX 360/PS3?PC versions but I never get tired of playing it. Plus I can't remember the last time I laughed so much while playing a video game.

The Xbox 360 has better graphics. It has more options with new buttons also. The only thing new the Wii has is the remote. Dude, I love nintendo, but this version is pretty lame-looking compared to the xbox version. You blow up zombies, coffins, and gods in the xbox version. This looks like pre-skool's version. It doesn't even look like the movie. The best part about the ghostbusters game is that it's like another movie. I guess I'll have to play it to be sure, maybe there's some good jokes reminiscent of the cartoon, but it seems like a watered-down version of the scary xbox and ps3 versions.

Wow, why is everything on the Wii so damned cartoony? The graphics on the X-Box 360 and the PS3 really enhance the gameplay. (I also hate how PS3 graphics are always scaled back to 720 to be compatible with X-Box.)

Graphics wont count for much unless the game play is solid and often times these games lack game play cause it was made to earn a quick buck. I normally mock games that are based off movies but I have to admit I really wanna play it just because it's Ghostbusters......I'll rent it and see if I wanna keep it.

avoid the ps3 version of it. I only say i rented the ps3 version of it and the graphics on it are blurred. If you actually google it you can see where Terminal Reality confirmed the ps3 version has a defect, just thought i'd let you know

I agree it depends on people's tv but i don't find it to be the same at all. The resolution on the ps3 is still lower than that of the 360 and obviously because of that is one reason why the graphics don't look as good.
It was even confirmed by Terminal Reality that the resolution is like 1024 by something(Can't remember) on the ps3 while the 360 is doing at least 720p. Plus thats after the patch for it. Anyway matter of opinion though

Actually they could make the Wii version much like the 360 and PS3 version, but they spent most of their technology on the motion sensors. If the Wii had controllers that are simple like the PS3 and 360, it could do so much more

Well, the graphics is only one difference between Wii and the others. One's doing something new in the world of gaming (And succeding) while the other two focus on upgrading the graphics of the tried-and-true button-based gameplay all three have done for years and years.
Besides, if Project Natal is saying anything, it's that Xbox is now trying to copy Nintendo to muscle in on the casual gamer market. Not the most original thing. Besides, it's Xbox. I sense many red rings in the future...

For the cartoony proton packs and particle throwers, they should have gone with the design from "The Real Ghostbusters", which looked quite different from the movie ones. The throwers in this video look like plastic bubble-blowing guns.
Otherwise, good idea to not attempt photo-realism on the Wii.

I own the Wii version myself and as a diehard GB fan, I must say it is in my top five favorite Wii games. Granted it may lack the bells and whistles of the XBOX 360/PS3?PC versions but I never get tired of playing it. Plus I can't remember the last time I laughed so much while playing a video game.
