Honestly I think everyone has their own style of drumming. There really shouldn't be a correct way to play. There a lot of different styles, people make up their own sometimes, and play with whatever they feel comfortable. (This can be applied to his way of holding the sticks.)

I, honsetly can say I hate buckethead. Like someone said before, he can move his hand fast, and I don't find that extremely impressive. BTW, that guitarist top ten list is opinion.
