  • So VHS was useful after all!!

    These are priceless!!!

  • Andy looks so shy hahaha hes cute >.<

  • @xszawe You're very welcome; so glad you enjoyed it. Have a nice day.

  • Damn, it's missing my favorite part. Where Conan's outside a commerce talking to a big intimidating dude who gets real annoyed with Consie.

  • Pleeeeeease upload part 2! Thanks!

  • Few things:

    1) This is one on my favorite Conan segments ever.

    2) Is part 2 taken down? That's lame, but I'm glad the Buffalo part is up on youtube.

    3) That song he makes up at the end should be altered and be the new TBS theme.

    4) Why did Houston show Conan so late?

  • I am from Houston and I moved to New York in 97 and the first night there we were at the Seaport Suites flipping through the channels and we saw this ongoing bit about Late Night coming on at 2:40 am back home. We were laughing hysterically! We (my best friend Anita and I) watched it every night when we got home from work at Rick's Cabaret. (We'd moved to NY to work at the VIP Lounge on 20 W. 20th.) All of our friends watched it, too, when they got home from the club.

    Where's part 2?

    FUNNY!

  • wheres part 2 cant find it and buffalo was afriend of mine i havent seen this clip with the buffalo pat sice it aired in 97 would love to see it but cant find or your part two but ido remeber seeing buffalo at the bus station telling off conan while i flipped channels in 1997 and have told the story many times but have only faint memories of the clip but not buffalo he was ateen when i last saw him in houston and now he is a conan bus station hero what a small world please help me find the clip

  • @tangentforce do a search for conan houston bus terminal

  • Life is funny. Houston was the only affiliate that aired Conan's show late. His only sponsor at that hour was that local furniture salesman with the commercial where he wields a chainsaw. Conan decides to get the guy a more polished commercial from a top advertising agency in NYC. They go there for a remote and one of the ad people there is a pretty blonde named Liza. Conan ends up marrying her later and they now have two kids!

  • im from houston and i never knew they did that to conan sorry

  • God, I remember when this aired...thanks for posting this.

  • I love anytime I get to hear Conan sing "ba-ooooooo"

  • I was in Houston back in '02 or '03 and I remember being surprised when Montel Williams came on after the Tonight Show. I remembered this skit, but I honestly thought they by then that they would have come to their senses and moved Conan to his proper time slot.

  • Now I just wish Jimmy Fallon would recall this skit and bring it up again. He might be able to replicate history and get some press out of it.

  • This is the very thing that made me a fan of Conan back then. I had never been a fan of his at all, and then I happened across this one night while bored, it looked interesting, and the rest was history.

  • I'm the exact same. I looked everywhere for this clip, I thought it was hilarious and has made me a fan of the show since. Can't wait for his return!

  • I'm glad that Houston's affiliate put him back right after Leno in 2005. But right after they did this in 1997, they got backlash for it and they put it on 1:05 am.

  • Yeah: And to paraphrase 'Buffalo': 'We don't watch that crap down here!!' LOL

  • thanks for uploading this i also remember seeing this when it was first on.I laughed so hard at the part with Buffalo "i was just almost murdered"

  • lol what happend he used to think he had a good deal........ still funnier than Jay

  • Apparently, it was on this trip that he met his wife.

  • I don't.... think... so.

  • conan was at his best at 12:30am... more risk stuff and more fun. he is the funniest person in the world

  • I remember watching this, too. How time flies! Thanks for uploading this

  • And thanks for subscribing!

  • Oh man, I remember watching this!

The actual circumstances (I was sick in bed for about 3 weeks) sucked but Conan kept me smiling through it.

When I moved up to Victoria, TX, I actually had that Houston affiliate! during the summer I'd have to watch Conan late at night since the San Antonio CBS affiliate showed Letterman at like 11 at night. I couldn't really do it otherwise since I was in middle school. :p

  • Let's hope all these vintage Conan videos posted by all of us remain up!!

  • Oh man, I remember watching this. 1997, I feel ancient.

  • classic conan, this is the reason why i started watching him. thanks for posting this!

  • Very welcome!
