If you stick with numerological numerals such as 2 3 4 6 8 9 11 12 18 24 33 36 48 64 & 72 I'm convinced you will unlock the esoteric formula contained therein.
One reason I bought my 1989 F-350 for experimenting is absence of all the sensors. Not sure how the sensors work, but it sounds like you on the right track dealing with volume and density being detected and confusing sensors. I bought junkyard alternator for 35 bucks..CS144 Delco Remy capable of 140 amps. Will junk the regulator, replace rectifier and get 200 amps at outrageous voltage (100 volts plus). Acting independent from truck system for HHO and onboard welder. HIgh amps at idle also.
Hi Tony: I am glad to know that you are working with a Powerstroke that doesn't have split shot injectors. Please post or PM me the MPG results. My best guess is that you will have to add at least 6LPM of HHO to get an improvement that can easily be measured.
How are you going to mount the second alternator? After you modify the alternator you will need a DC to DC converter so that you have a constant voltage output to the HHO brick. Let me know if you find a reasonably priced one.
Hi Marshall, Im working on the bracket issue in between ordering Shottky diodes for rectifier (alternator AC to DC). Im not really satisfied with most after market products. Cost and functions just not really up to shuff. If you go the route of buying and rebuilding second alternator, alternatorparts(dot)com has a nice non-avalanche diode pack for about 50 buck. Its just not rated high enough for my needs voltage wise. Im more or less doing modular design an setup, beginning with max amps/volts.
After building external rectifier and being installed inside cab, Im looking into buidling a second module with several outputs of regulated DC voltage as well as 120 AC at 60 hertz. Im thinking along the line of my second alternator/rectifier/regulator as the hub then daisy chain modules as needed. HOping such modular design as easy to troubleshoot.
Mounting the alternator will be a problem. Im putting a GM alternator into an old Ford diesel with V-belts. Hence my need for onboard welder now.
I would maybe go with after market DC to DC converter ...but for some reason or another..I think they uninvented them. I just cant find anything other than toys out there.
I've seen a guy that installed a semi-truck alternator on a sbc in his rockcrawler to run welders and aircomp. ect. he had to build a custom bracket but it worked great. just a idea.
I'm adding HHO to my 1978 Chev Silverado 350 gasoline-engine classic. It has standard ignition (distributor cap, rotor) and a 4 bbl carb. No computer that I'm aware of. Introducing the HHO thru the PVC valve. Will the truck idle faster? Will I need to manually reduce idle setting on carb? I don't know about sensors, etc on this model vehicle. What can I expect? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks for the encouragement. I have a compulsive need to understand the way things work. Back in the day of the carburetor I understood fully what was going on inside an engine. After a long hiatus I finally decided I have to learn about computerized control of engines. The learning curve is steep and slipery but I will persevere.
you are right about map sensor. do not under any circumstances change map signal. not only on powerstroke but any turbo vehicle. idle and cruise will still see vacumn. so map is negative pressure sensor and positive pressure sensor. safer way to reprogram for hho is get a flasher that is used with lpg injection. it is similar to lpg in is it increases flame speed. still get pyro before that reflash. hope this helps. love watching test on diesel its in my future project list.
I did not notice ANY change in real time MPG with or without MAP enhancer. There is definatly in my mind problems this device can cause with its use. I no longer use the P.O.S.
What a great increase

I love your videos, I'm looking to install HHO on my Jeep 3.0 Diesel and on my C320 3.2 Petrol Mercedes.
Need to get started on this so I'd love to hear back from you.

why do you modified a ford...it's a shitty truck of scrap
