He seperates his religious beliefs from his political beliefs and is accepting and supportive of other beliefs and life choices that go against his religion.

First of all, when it comes to drugs, I don't understand why alcohol is legal but marijuana is not! What's wrong with a country that legalizes cigarettes that kills thousands every year but won't legalize marijuana? Let's face it, no matter what you legalize, if kids really want to get their hands on it they will. Kids can get alcohol, kids can get cigarettes. You do your best to prevent it but there's no 100 percent guarantee that they won't. Why are they so stiff on marijuana legalization????

So my question is this: IF the First Amendment prevents government from having a display of the Ten Commandments in a courthouse then does the First Amendment allow preachers and laymen to discuss publically the Ten Commandments in that same courthouse? First of all, when it comes to drugs, I don't understand why alcohol is legal but marijuana is not! What's wrong with a country that legalizes cigarettes that kills thousands every year but won't legalize marijuana? Let's face it, no matter what you legalize, if kids really want to get their hands on it they will. Kids can get alcohol, kids can get cigarettes. You do your best to prevent it but there's no 100 percent guarantee that they won't. Why are they so stiff on marijuana legalization????
