Of course, there are bands that have only one song I like (Svartsrot's "Drekkar" or Tyr's "Hold the heathen hammer high" or genres that I listen to only because of few bands (Carach Angren is a really amazing, symphonic black metal [pirtate/flying dutchman themed] band, check out "Departure Towars a Nautical Course. Apart from that I like only industrial-BM or blackened BM

hell yeah...I don't think that they "ruin" the original songs, I mean, they just do a different version of the song. In this case I don't know the original version, but I'm more into the extreme kinds of Metal (although I love some different stuff too - don't matter) but Satriani is almost just too "soft" for me. I play Guitar myself, and I think technically he's just a god, but to see the whole music, it's not hard enaugh...praise to bands like Graveworm who "harden" it^^
