Yes, this is in drop D, or I play it that way at least. Also, don't forget that a lot of their songs are also in drop C. Most people think they're all in drop D, but they're not. For example, Death and the Healing is drop C.

@flyingcolour7 no, it really is. im disapointed with this live version too.. first of all he should have never played 1:24 with distortion, thats one of the most beautiful musical parts i've ever heard and that distortion fucked it up, second he goes a lot out of tune when singing. i know its hard to play and sing along but damn 2:00 is horrible and besides i think i can barely hear jari's guitar, i clearly listen to the leads but not to the rythm.. still one of my fav songs ever.

His Telecaster must be custom because a real Telecaster is NOT a Metal guitar O_O. The Telecaster was one of the first electric guitars it came about before a Stratocaster even. How he made it sound so metal is really an interesting question.

jaris guitars are usually are tuned a step down - DGCFAD - with the exception the song beautiful death which is in drop C - CGCFAD.

Today you get get a pretty good Guitar for like 200£ 320$ ish. :D.. no excuses anymore to not pick up a beginners book and use all the wonderful stuff on youtube or other places online.. learning dvd's of high quality are also easily available.. not like when i started playing as a hobby 25yrs ago lol
