But, uh... Just one question: How the heck can they possibly record the rate at which you clap? They know you clap 14 times per second by doing what exactly? That seems impossibly hard to do, but I'm sure there's an easy way.

They record it digitally then count the spikes per second

@frenchclapper well I read you're a percussionist right? So you probably could calculate 12 claps a second as 1-2-3-4, with triplets on each beat.. that's how I figured it out, although 14 would be slightly faster i guess..
