The killing of the eagle was a true story. This recording was developed by the detectives wh To investigated. The real Jim Hall was being made fun of by them. This Jim Hall is the infamous Donnie Phipps a 30 year veteran of the State Police (now retired). Det. Scott retired after his stint of guarding the infamous love gov Paul Patton. The other ones were really Federal Agents who assisted in the investigation. Great Job Guys.... by the way the year was 1984 and occurred in Magoffin County KY.
