DW always tops 2h in PvP (No question about it). s far as race is concerned, Orc is best for Enhance. 15% Stun resist and Blood Fury are the best enhance spec racials.

I hope you're not using the really fast off hand, you want two nice and slow weapons with windfury on both. Check out the elitistjerks post on Enhancement Shaman Theorycrafting, some great tips there.

Elemental > enhancement for pvp. Enhance relies on a 20% proc to do damage. with elemental you can sustain dps much much easier. Elemental also offers more survival with healing and having a shield out.

enh is probably the most fun spec to be for a shami. ive talked to countless shammans that were decked in pvp enh gear nd they said to stick wit ele for pvp just because its beter. ele is rediculous nd the burst dmg is like sex but once 2.3 hits, burts dmg will fly down but pve endurance dmg will go up. nd in 2.3 im feeling a hidden wf nerf so if ur enh dw might be beter jsut to play it safe

I've never seen a shaman with full merc gear, and stormhearld, because everyone is enhance, maybe if someone tryed getting good gear, then maybe enhancement would be better, i guess what im leading to is, Elemental shamans arent as gear dependent as enhance, but if you get the right gear, then you shaould be fine.

I hated enhance in pvp because I couldent stand up to any melee classes, the rogues out-dps'd me and the warriors out-survived me, with elemental I can at least wear a sheild and still deal really good damage not to mention frost shocking the crap outta melee classes

on certain situations yes, pvp as enchantment 1-69 rocks, at 70 ele is usually better, but if ur an orc with a nice 2hander then, i prefer Enhance :) but i do agree with you that the majority of 70 pvp ele are better :)

When people run like that, since shaman don't have a quick get in your face move, I use my improved ghost wolf to run up to them real quick, Frost shock so they slow down, and bash away. Nice crits =]
